I am seriously concerned about my wife's mental stability, while I am at work, she can literally sit and watch the Christmas Movies on Hallmark Channel for 10 hours a day!!! This can't be a good? I have tried to watch with her a few times, everytime time I do, within 30 min. I have to run out of the room to keep from gouging my own eyes out!!!! Has anyone else here experienced this horrible phenomenon???.............Peace.........joe

My mother is 70ish and goes Bah Humbug On the network for replacing Frasier reruns with those movies. I’ve read that they make big bucks by showing them endlessly each year but they kind of look the same to me. Rmbras

The only Christmas movie I can deal with is National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. If I'm not working I try to catch A Charlie Brown Christmas. Cool

One of the ladies at work listens to the Christmas music channel all day every day at work.
Her desk is decorated with lights and a Christmas tree........

One of my colleagues watches a Hallmark Christmas movie every night (we hear about it the next day). The countdown started Thanksgiving Day, I think. She says it's mind-numbing & that's just what she wants. The stories are so formulaic she knows what's going to happen in every scene, the movies have all the same actors in different roles, and they all end w/a kiss when the couple gets engaged after knowing each other for a week. She says it's a good way to de-stress. Really, between politics & end of year work, a silly movie seems harmless.

Never thought I see a Hallmark thread here but I actually have something to contribute. My wife and I were in Memphis this past summer and went on a visit to Graceland. When we arrived, we saw what looked like snow on the ground which was weird but it turned out it was cotton. It was all over the ground, strewn on trees, and there were Christmas lights. BTW, the temperature was 95 degrees outside. Turns out it was for a Hallmark Film, Christmas in Graceland which premiered a couple of of weeks ago. Given that we were there during the filming, we watched the film, Absolutely dreadful.
