That is a short tune. I think the reason they are so popular is they are having a blast themselves and it rubs off on the audience.

@rusty:  Wowie, thanks for posting that!   I had seen on-line that it was a cover of a Robert Johnson tune but I had a hard time believing that.  You just verified it!

@robertdee:  And I think that Chad Smith is one of the VERY best drummers around, anywhere.  The engine that drives their sound.  I know he had a side project with Sammy Hagar some years back, can't remember the name of that band.

I think of a band like the Ramones.  Don't know off hand "best one minute tune", there are probably some cool intros to songs that are tracked as a separate song leading into the next one that a lot of bands have.
