I saw Led Zeppelin twice in the early 1970's. Loudest concerts I guess I've seen. Jimi Hendrix was LOUD when I saw him in 1968.
John Bonham was about the best drummer in rock then. I remember John playing part of a solo with his hands. No sticks!!
Saw Buddy Rich in Baltimore in a jazz/big band style show. Not really my kind of music but Buddy was the fastest drummer I ever saw.
