@robertdee I think this is the Rory Gallagher 1961 Strat sold last year for $1,156,793 / £889,400 / €1,068,956.
@crosseyedcat Wow!! And that Strat is beat up a lot. It's who owned and played it which makes it so valuable.
I got an Email yesterday informing me some new guitars are made to look beat up with road wear. And some think that makes them unlikely to get stolen while on tour.
