Ray is one of the wealthiest artists in Nashville. Has been into real estate since arriving in town back in the early 60s. At one time, he owned most of the property on Music Row, buying it for thousands before the "Row" achieved it's famous status. He also produced a video tape of all of his hits back in the 80s & 90s. His label wouldn't support it, so Ray financed it himself, sold it on spec through TV and Parade magazine and sold over 7 million copies. It netted him around the 75 million because he owned the whole project.
The venue featured in the video link, CabaRay's, is a state of the art music hall. I have managed the last couple of Jerry Reed Tribute shows there and it's a kick to have everything you need in house. (78 inputs for audio with 19 monitor mixes and no overlap) That venue, by the way, is paid for, and Ray has zero concern about booking shows there other than his.
To the subject of the post, "Everything Is Beautiful" is my favorite.

A Hab The Arab is my favorite. Everything is Beautiful is a nice song.
A lot of people, including me, didn't realise what great guitar players Jerry Reed and Glen Campbell were until after being aware of their fame for sometime.
