I was in a local used bookstore (Half Price Books)over the weekend that carries music as well. I saw behind the counter on a shelf a copy of the ABB An Evening With, first set. Usually the stuff that sets back there is the rare "pricey " merchandise. I asked the clerk how much it was and he said 75.00.  I don't collect a lot of vinyl or really every followed like "first pressings" and etc. When that release came out in 1992 , vinyl was not the media of choice/popular and pretty much going by the wayside at that point. I thought maybe they did a limited run at that time or did it come out maybe more recently due to the resurgence  vinyl. Any thoughts? I thought about buying it, but 75.00? I really like that release and has my favorite version of Blue Sky, but not for that price.

I bet it is the limited release Record Store Day release from a few years ago, I paid $50 for my copy that day. It will either be clear blue or orange vinyl with a huge poster (20 x 24?) of the front cover folded up inside. I think it is worth the money. A version was released in '92 (may have been an import) but I think it would cost more than $75 as you never see those available anymore.

It has a great version of Dreams too.

And the Southbound is hot. The rearrangement is what Dickey went to and stayed with after he put Great Southern and was back to twin guitars. Personally I like the arrangement on Brothers and Sisters the best.
