$5? For many shows tm and ln are charging $20 for aisles.

Here is an example chart. An already overprice Hall and Oates show which is you look charges $149.50 for aisles as opposed to the $129.50 standard price. As I said in another thread I am glad I am done seeing all these phonies. And that chart by the way is a classic example of the complete bs that now is ticket buying. And people stupidly think its about bots.

this is a new one to me but truly amazing. that being said, i have season tickets for NY Rangers hockey and they are now trying to renew for next season with a March 9th deadline. The season still has a month to go. they never did renewals until May deadline before.

It is amazing how everyone is squeezing every last dollar from people. And if you give up seats, they just find someone else to fill them.

At some point it will hit a wall just as NY Jets tickets have as they play to a half empty stadium now due to their greed with PSLs and a crappy team.

I have said this before and I will say it again, as long a people keep buying and padding their bank accounts it will just continue . Keep feeding the best and it just wants more. People need to speak with there wallets and just say no. Unreal to charge that for aisle seats. That turns me off even more about going to concerts and I RARELY go in the first place anymore. Something needs to be done.....

Next thing you know you will have to pay to use the restroom

Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

I would do it nowadays. I always get aisle seats if I can. Five dollars is not the end of the world. Sucks when you are annoying people to get up and buy a beer or use the restroom.

Ten dollar convenience fee for placing an online order? Amusement tax? Historical preservation fee? Those are just the ones off the top of my head.

You buy a $40 ticket and it ends up closer to $60 for example.

Not $5 at a Jones Beach show I was just checking out...$20...first and second seat on the aisle. Ridiculous.

This may be due to the new tax law - my buddy said small businesses can no longer use sports tickets as a deduction for a business expense (I am going by what his accountant told him). They may be trying to get people to renew before they know all the new rules.....

They do the same on planes. You pay more to use credit for gas

Have no issue re charging more for choice. Otherwise they’d raise every ticket by a bit

Raises an issue for me when you search for best available for popular comcert
