Rick Rubin does not play a musical instrument. He does not know how to operate a soundboard. Yet he has become one of the most in demand Producers in music for many years now, and that spans many genres. It's all by ear. This is a great 60 Minutes segment.

Rick Rubin is endlessly fascinating. Check out McCartney 3,2,1 on HULU, The podcast Broken Record and the documentary Shangri-La just to name a few.
