Finally made the trek to Macon today and the Big House Museum.

It was a great experience! So much to see and take in, it is hard to describe the emotions but one of the most important things I took away was just how positive the whole vibe was. Talked with many folks whom were total strangers but felt like long lost friends..

As a huge Dickey Betts fan I was really pleased with how well he is represented in the "House"

Already plotting my next trip!

Totally agree, I was there last saturday and it was just an amazing place to visit, also went to Rose hill cemetery and saw Duane and B.O grave and the start of Gregg's .

I finally made it to the Big House last fall with my two best friends. ANYONE who is an ABB fan should go and support this place. It is amazing to be right there with the instruments that made this music. Totally worth a fourteen hour drive.

I have a history degree and worked for a small museum for eleven years - I was impressed with it as a museum regardless of the subject matter. So a great museum about the greatest blues band ever, makes for a pretty enjoyable day.
