Hi Billastro. This was the beginnings of our Forums own Bob Beatty's book "Play All Night". The book came out last year and it is well worth reading.

Amazing how much impact Duane continues to have. I'm grateful to have seen him three times. I wish it could have been more.

I think you can find the book on this site as well as Amazon. I liked it. 

I wish I had seen Duane and Berry too. I was "enlightened" just after B.O. passed. Not sure how they were not on my radar at the time. I was already in to jazz and blues and listened to the cool underground radio station coming out of Philly back then. The first time I heard them it was love at first listen! Haven't stopped since.
