Cool Duane and Bobby Blue Bland story
I believe I saw this elsewhere on the site but recently ran across it again and thought it appropriate to post here. An "outtake" from Al Paul's One Way Out.

Awesome, Thanks
Very cool, thanks.
I saw BB King post Duane, Dickey Betts sat in with him for the encore.
Similar vibe…everyone, the band, the audience, was dressed up, except Dickey in jeans and flannel shirt.
Awesome story! Bobby Bland was one fine singer and Duane certainly had studied his music. As evidence, the ABB version of Stormy Monday reverently recreates Wayne Bennet's chordal arrangement and the whole feel of Bland's classic record.
Super cool story.
I wonder who the other guitar player was - wonder if might have been Michael Bloomfield??
