nice story.  I grew up in Pittsburgh and we were so lucky to so many good bands come thru.  Didn't realize at the time that It was because of this guy.  I appreciate him and what he did.  Interesting story, I saw the ABB in late January 1981 and then again in December 1981 both shows in Pittsburgh.  ABB had a strong following there.

I grew up in Erie, just north of Pittsburgh. DiCesare/Engler promoted a lot of great shows in the 70's & 80's there.
