i must say I went to last nights show expecting to be disappointed because lets be honest how do you ever really make such a night as good as people hope for?As it turned out I was blown away from the very start, there was a different kind of energy and focus. The old cliche they played it like it was their final concert really did apply.I must also add a word about Gregg who I have been hard on for his recent stumbles. He was perfect last night,he didnt miss a cue,he didnt forget lyrics! It was as if he wanted his last show to be remembered as a great one and he raised his game to the level people remember him by in years gone by.For me having Gregg so on last night is what made it such a special show!I am sad to know I wont be planning how to get tickets for the shows in March as I have for 16 years but last nights show will stay with me and make the bands end manageable for me.These guys have given me so much pleasure over the years!Thank you to all those in the band for all the great times and memories!

I was AWE-mazed that on the LAST song, 'Trouble No More', after more than 3 hours of actual stage time, Gregg reached up and hit the improvised HIGH notes of yesteryear -- TWICE -- in that song! STUNNING!

Speechless. Words absolutley fail me. Clapton 3/19/09 and Saturday's show were my two favorites of all time....until now. This one was at the highest plateau ever - fierce, driving and the fellas were attacking their respective instruments and built crescendo after crescendo and blew the lid off the Beacon. LOUD and appreciative crowd was going crazy. An historical night that I will never EVER forget.
