Good morning,
While understand why , I am still sad that the Merch. folks are closing down - such nice people, such a great service.
Because I am blessed with a steady job and living an hour from the Beacon I was able to attend every show of every run since 2003. Of course the United Palace run as well but my question is about the past Beacon shows. The merch closing has motivated me to order a few memorable live CDs.
My question is about recollecting a slim trumpet player who played some long solos. Not a part of the Jukes. Don't know his actual ethnicity but he appeared to be a dark skinned African American, not very old.Anyone know what shows he was featured in? I don't believe it was the 40th anniversary run nor the last run.
My time is running out so any help would be so appreciated!!

I know you said trumpet, but I hit every run, but not every show from 1994, possible you are thinking of Trombone Shorty? The only non-Jukes trumpet player I remember is Randy Brecker.

Maurice Brown from TTB?
I know he played on All Along The Watchtower at the Gregg-less show on 3-25-12.

Thank you both for the time you took to help me.
I looked at Maurice Brown "s picture on the web and yes that is who I am looking for.
I did think I recognized him when I went to some TTB shows but at he time I wasn't sure.
mikesolo: I searched the HTN web store and did see Randy as listed in a number of shows but of course he does not look like Maurice. I can only surmise that when Maurice played he was not listed.I know this seems like a very weird idea given how detailed the listings are for each concert but what else can I think?
Was there and was totally engaged in Maurice's performance!!!
Has any one ever not been listed as a performer? It seems very sadly won't be able to find the cd.

Again, thank you both for spending the time helping me.I appreciate it !!
