Saw on Facebook that Sandman is shutting down beer production and will be closing his brewery.  Looks like lately they have had staffing shortages and had to close a couple of days.  Says they will be open though at least the end of the year.

Looking forward to seeing Lefty and No Mercy this Friday night in Chicago - and to seeing some of my "cult" friends again!

... hope it's as good as seeing him at BB Kings in NYC then moving on to Yogis Wink

Began my first winter project this morning, helping a brother restore a 1940 Indian Scout.  The frame has some issues, but my old man showed me some shit when I was a pup.  Man, these were beautiful machines.

Yeah Guardian Scout does not have that correct aesthetic regarding either historical or mechanical connotation, oh well.

Nah, the Washington Redskins have a decent team. Now the Cleveland Indians gave it a good try but they went down. That's wott you get for beating my Tiggers!

Lefty and No Mercy was fun - they played from 8 until about 1:20.  What band starts with Eyes of the World - Mountain Jam - I Know You Rider?  Great seeing Julie and Billy there  - too bad Randy got sick and couldn't make it.

Glad you had fun! I would love to see them again! Did you make Pete sing Roadhouse Blues? I always did.

Pete sang a lot - Roadhouse Blues, Wicked Games, I'm No Angel - maybe a couple more.

I got tix to see The Drive By Truckers next Friday. I have no idea how this happened but yesterday I checked prices for the Friday show at House of Blues in the secondary market. I got a pair for $2.79 each. With fees, it worked out to $17.10. Wow. Smile

I think I mentioned this but there used to be some places to sit. I'm pretty sure you, me and someone else sat at a table on the lever right above the main floor. And there was a long bar on the right side of the stage as you are facing it. But I haven't been there in a long time. Both shows start at 6:30 which if kind of nice.

It would seem rather distasteful for people in Nebraska to hand out anything with the word "corn" in it to children on Halloween.

@oldcoot

Just saw that Rowland has posted this in AG ...

"Our next archival release project is the RFK Stadium June 9, 1973 show and we want to make it the best possible product - if you were there or have photos, ticket stubs, posters, flyers - anything that you have ownership of and we could use, drop us a line on the contact page of this site.  Thanks!!"

Better late than never I guess Wink
