I definitely blame Sang!

Well I broke down and after 5 days of 90 degree temperatures I turned on the A/C. I wouldn't have done it at all but THB is on her way home from Atlanta and if she walked into it had I not done it you might never have heard from me again.

I hate the electric bill. 😮 

Only supposed to be 60's and 70's next week .... I'm ready for it .... 

I live in a high rise and one of the passenger elevators is out. There are probably three or four hundred people that live here. It is a total nightmare to get to the street. They need a part to fix it that won't arrive for three weeks. If I didn't live I on the ninth floor I would just take the stairs. Even the delivery people just leave everything in the lobby.

If I was on the golfball course in 90 degree temps I would feel the same way. We do get the Lake Michigan Breeze.

A few years ago this "genius" working at the front desk in our building turned off the elevator to the roof. I was on the roof when he did it so I had two options: take the stairs or the fire escape. The stairs seemed like the safer option so that's wott I did. I walked down 13 flights of stairs. The building was built in 1920ish and it still has a lot of the old charm. We actually have glass doorknobs. Anyway, the steps go down a spiral staircase which is very narrow. When you've had a few $5 ginger ales on the roof it is tough sledding.

Finally a nice day with the heat index below 95 ... 

In the mid 70's here the next week. Going to be time to get the garden in pretty soon. Nice rain overnight.

Yes, I was planning on hitting a couple nurseries today for tomato and pepper plants ...

My youngest son's birthday today, going to a Mexican restaurant to celebrate.

Had one of my best rounds of golf today - shot a 79!  13 pars, 9 1-putts and 0-3 putts.

Playing a really hard course on Thursday ...

I had to go downtown this morning at about 8:00 AM and I was pleasantly surprised to see how many people were in The Loop. The bus was SRO. It's like COVID doesn't exist.
