Had a Thanksgiving gathering last week. We all pre-tested for Covid, all negative. Unfortunately, unknown to anyone a grandson had RSV. Now, everyone has it. Glad it's not Covid but this is nasty enough. Send me your BEST antibiotics!

Damn. I have only recently heard of it. Particularly in children. I guess there is no vaccine yet. Hope everyone is okay.

Tie Dye block ....  

Had an interesting afternoon. Went to my watering hole after the soccerball game to watch real football. Once I knew the USA lost I figured the bar would clear out. It did. Met my buddy there and we were ordering beers. There were no lids on the beer. I asked my guy why. He said people ordered buckets of them. Once the USA lost they vacated and left the beers there. So he served them to me. We had them. We left and so I asked for my tab. $4.43. For a whole bucket. I always get a hookup but this was unreal.

So at this point I was paying about 50 cents a beer. In Chicago.

Does Miller Lite still count as beer?  

Does Porcupine Tree count as music?

Does coot like hippy tossing at Red Rocks?

Does Da Bears stink?

Two out of three ain't bad.

Yes, this afternoon Morocco held Spain (one of the favourites to win the World Cup) to a nil-nil tie and then won the game 3-0 on penalties ... then the game this evening saw Portugal beat Switzerland 6-1 which even Lee may have enjoyed

The RSV got a lot worse before it's finally feeling better somewhat today. That stuff is wicked. Due for 1/4" of ice starting early morning tomorrow. Good thing there's nowhere I need to go. 

I've been wheezing and coughing for a few days - finally feeling better today.

Got our freezing drizzle as predicted. Roads are like ice skating rinks. Good thing I have no need or intention to go out on them.

Sorry, haven't had one of those in quite some time...  

Supposed to be a nice weekend before the possibility of some snow mid-week. With how long the RSV lingers haven't really felt like getting out much lately, may have to today and tomorrow. I'd sit out on the patio and enjoy a cigar but my lungs have been through enough lately.
