Pierogi Fest was fun, but it is getting too crowded - we always go for the parade - Dancing Babushka's, lawn mower brigade, Mr. Pierogi, etc. They moved the parade to a different route, and it was too crowded to be able to see much. Plus the way they had it go, the people at the beginning of the parade walked in front of everybody still watching the end of the parade - so they could get to the actual food tents and entertainment.
As usual, the mushroom pierogi's were fantastic! The people watching and the funny t-shirts were pretty good.
4 sisters had shirts -1 said "I am the oldest sister - I make the rules". 2 had on "I am a middle sister - I am the reason there are rules". The last had one that said "I am the youngest sister - the rules don't apply to me".

Yeah, I get that. THB wants to go to that Willie Nelson Festival next weekend in the United Center parking lot. She really wants to see the band before him, Turnpike Troubadors. They are really good! She wants to leave after them and not see Willie which I said was nuts. But since I have a broken hip, I can't stand for a few hours. She brought this up so I guess I am not going. Too bad.

We had that 2 weeks ago ... very unusual for these parts ... had to go for a drive as my car is the only thing that has air conditioning ... now back down in the mid-80's and that is hot enough for me!

Played golf yesterday - luckily it was early and overcast, so not too hot. Went to a new bar/restaurant last night.
Very hot out now, supposed to storm later. May keep us from going to see a band tonight ...
Just heard thunder by the lake which means the cable will go out. Not a huge deal as I am busy working on something anyway.

Another day in paradise just trying to keep the lawn from burning up. I guess it is summer though.

I think I need a training class on the new site and I don't have time to do it on my own. 
Not saying it is bad or anything, just different of course. I have trained people and learned software systems and it does take some time. Of course for something like a website it should be pretty simple.
