You guys both bring up good points about the whole thing. Now I just sit and wait for my replacement cards to be sent to me. THB gave me one of her cards to use in an emergency. At least my bank gave me a card on the spot.
It reminds me of the movie "Vacation" when Chevy Chase is out of money and credit cards. Trust me, it is a scary feeling.

Played golf this morning. Hit a shot with my 9 iron, and the head came flying off. Nobody saw where the ball went. Turns out it was just over the green. Good chip and one putt to a par. Cost $70 to get the club fixed. Good thing I had a gift card, reward dollars, and won some money on the course ...

Great concert - in the round with a big screen above the band. Played some solo stuff, and played songs off of Dark Side, Wish You Were Here, Animals, the Wall, and the Final Cut. Had the pig fly around the arena with Steal from the poor to give to the Rich on one side and Fvck the Poor on the other. Great surround sound, and awesome visuals - but I forgot just how dark his politics and the songs are. When you are listening at home, you think "great song", but don't always think of the meaning. At his shows the meaning comes thru loud and clear with the visuals. It was almost like should I be cheering songs like Us and Them, Sheep, etc. BTW, Sheep was awesome. So was Shine On You Crazy Diamond.
Obviously he is very anti-war and against the rich controlling the world. There are quite a few videos on youtube from the 1st day of the tour in Pittsburgh - check a few out.
Cool that you saw him. I never put two and two together to realize how against rich people is. Shine on You Crazy Diamond is probably a perfect example of that. Not to get all political and idealistic but I find that incredibly hypocritical. Do you think he is going to give away his money? If you read that Springsteen thread someone said the same thing about Bruce. Good for them to make money I guess. I think when I saw Waters the seats were $20 or $25! 😀
I have no idea if Waters helps those less fortunate or not but I know Bruce does so that is admirable. When I saw him at The United Center he had drop offs for food and an option to give money to The Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Does anyone expect celebrities to want to be paupers? Heck, look at professional athletes. They seem to be worse. And I'm a sports nut.

That doesn't bother me as much as people that put their phone on speaker. If they just talk I guess that is okay. And I don't like it when people have headphones on and I can hear that. People that smell aren't really at the top of my list either. Other than that, I am okay with most folks. 😉

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad 'ol Moving At the End of the Month Sucks Day! I walked down the side street outside of our building and there must be seven U-Haul trucks blocking the street, trying to get into buildings, etc. I ran into one of our engineers and he is sweating, complaining about this, everything. Plus the end of the month falls on a weekend which makes it even worse. I need an aspirin.

I was told someone hit it and they happened to be from Illinoiz but it wasn't me. I actually did shell out the three bucks but I didn't even get one number right.
