just like that, i was laid off this morning. Actually they laid off almost the entire floor.
In all honesty, especially working until 11:30 last night, it felt like a weight has been lifted.
The Mrs won't be too pleased. however, it should allow me some time with Rory when he comes homes Fri.
The money part will be a drag, but we'll manage.

I really want to do that but I only have one outside chance. I get up at 2:30 AM to go to work. I can see if a colleague would come in for me early Friday and then I will have to pull a few more strings. I'll let you know. Will be still be a long day but I might be able to pull it off.
