Yard work is calling. Mad

Prolly have a cigar and a cold one afterwards. Cool

Moving in a few days.

Yard work will be someone else's problem.

I prolly still have a cigar and a cold one, tho. 😉

No RSD releases for me. Did score some Marshall Tucker Band, Elvin Bishop, Al Stewert, Marty Robbins, Paul Katners Jefferson Starship, David Bromberg, and Ry Cooder.

I got the Buddy Guy, Black Crowes & Jimmy Page and Santana Live at Woodstock. The Guy and The Crowes were pretty pricey for just two songs and three songs, the Santana was their entire set at Woodstock.

Passed on The Stones (two songs, $21) and Lou Reed Live. That was a double album but $35 and I'm not that big of a Reed listener.

Saw one from RSD 2015, Dr. John & David Hidalgo together, The Arcs. Almost got that too.

I have that Arcs release. One side is Dr John with the Arcs and the other is Hidalgo with them

There were definitely goat sounds coming from Woods tent last night. 😮 Grin

We'd be way more surprised if there weren't...... 😛

I guess the pillow didn't muffle enough...

Yesterday. 10 hour trip on a bike, with 5 hours in a driving rain. Shit.

Sang got caught up in a couple of delays due to wrecks. And the rain. Not a pleasant return trip for Wanee attendees who were headed north.

I did get back in time to take a shower, change clothes, and attend the Jason Isbell show at the beautiful Tennessee Theater last night. Now at work. All I gotta say is...

QUIT!

Holy cow Alan, you have the energy of a 40 year old, ha !

And - you could've made the race in Bristol if it weren't for that damn job.

Yes - Quit !

I had mailed the Bristol tickets to my cousin that goes to the races with Dad and I a couple of weeks ago. I haven't heard whether he was going to go today or not. He lives real close to the track.

Believe me, I'm dragging today and my rear end is a little tender. Sitting through the show was a problem itself, but Jason was spectacular as always.

I also have the Arcs EP. I really like it.

I overdid RSD a bit this year, but nothing like a few years back.

My big prize was a 3 LP singles collection by The Meters. Also got the Buddy Guy. Drive-By Truckers and Flaming Lips live releases, and the Hawkwind UA collection.

I also went to Bloodshot Records HQ, which was fun to visit, saw a Carpenters tribute band, and had a sushi burrito.

I saw Rebirth Brass Band the night before RSD with Putz, then the Revolution on Sunday with Mrs. Moid.

Rebirth was good as always, and the Revolution put on a good show as well. Would have been much better with that little lead guitar guy.

Took me an hour and a half to get home from work today. 9.6 miles down two routes in Chicago. Almost as bad as Indiana. 😮

Is it worth it to not have the costs of a car?

Louie Anderson is at a local comedy club this weekend, anyone ever see him live ?

Anyone watch Baskets ?

I may go see Louie but it will be extremely hard not to think of him as the mother on that show.
