Good evening. Took my girlfriends dog to the park today. He was nervous on the drive there but a happy puppy when he figured out what was going on. Great day for it.

Took 11 hours to Chattanooga instead of 10 - took 45 minutes to go 6 miles on I-57 right before getting on 24 to Nashville - that and my windshield wiper fell off - luckily I had a spare ... rained pretty hard between Nashville and Chattanooga. I am at my hotel, and the TV is out because of lightning/rain - which is why I will never get DirecTV......

In a month or so we are visiting family in Phoenix, managed to make it the same time as the North Mississippi Allstars being at the Flagstaff Blues and Brews Festival !

Then driving across the desert to So Cal for more family visiting.

Been to Phoenix and LA ( a long time ago ) but have never done so much driving out there, should be interesting.
