This work schedule change is quite the adjustment. Every day getting up at 2:45. But getting out at around noon is pretty cool. That will be really nice in the summer. I will have time to get to Wrigley.
If only I could afford it though. Sigh...

Agreed, I also think Michigan State got in on name recognition. MSU should have been in one of the play in games. Was also surprised at how low they had Michigan.

Regarding MSU, I figured they would get in their name as well. I went there and don't think they should have gotten in.
Michigan won the Big Ten Tournament and have that 7/10 matchup witch is always tough.
I was hoping against hope that Oakland would get in, but I figured they wouldn't.
Frankly, I find all of the Big Ten seedings somewhat odd. Wisconsin an 8? Hell, they were in the Top 25 almost all season.
Oh well, we shall see!

Decided to see The Chieftains tomorrow, so close to St Pats day, seemed like the thing to do.

I'm seeing the Tossers at the Metro Friday night. It should be fun, if I can keep Putz from getting him and Conor kicked out.

The name of that 2nd song reminded me of that scene in The Departed where the Irish henchman, while being interrogated by Matt Damon has to call Nicholson and say - "Ma, I won't be home for supper."

I don't think they've been playing many shows lately, but I've been lucky to see them more than a few times.
Along with the fun stuff, they have a political bent as well.

I caught the tail end of a WXRT ad on the radio the other day and all I heard was Los Lobos for two night at some theater. I'm thinking "cool, Chicago Theatre here I come". Then I find out it's in Downer's Grove. 🙁

Good question. Probably not. I would imagine a place in Downers Grove is much smaller. They could definitely do one night at The Chicago Theatre. If you've never seen them, you should. They are amazing live.

Unfortunately the Chicago show is on a Thursday night but I might take Friday off to go to this. The venue is really small, cozy and close to me. Haven't seen them in a while.

Los Lobos was supposed to be in February, and they cancelled and rescheduled for tonight/tomorrow night. Then they said Hildago was sick/hurt, and Dave Alvin is taking his place...... it's a small movie theater, so it should be fun...and no, I wasn't invited.....

I've seen them a couple times. Playing locally next month but on a Sunday.
