Did I mention I had to go to the DMV yesterday? I can understand why those people are so unhappy. That place sucks. I spent three hours just to change my address. And the document I gave them to prove that I moved was an official State of Illinois letter. The state had my address wrong. I was lucky. The guy waiting on me lives right by me caught the typo. He let it go.

Our local college - Florida Gulf Coast University - won the conference yesterday and will dance.
We were at the game, 4600 or so in attendance, pretty loud.
Pretty exciting for a small school in a small market.

Nice, was hoping my alma mater Oakland University would do the same thing. They lost there first game in the tournament.

Strange how that works. A few years ago my wife and I went to The United Center (where the Bulls and Black Hawks play) to see Neil Young and the Los Lobos. Odd combo but I love them both.
Los Lobos opened and the sound was so terrible even my wife picked up on it which surprised me and wanted to leave. Not sure if Neil sounded better or not. Do they have their own sound people? If so it could make sense. I doubt Los Lobos are accustomed to playing arenas. I've seen them MANY times and never in a place that big.
I've seen bands such as Pearl Jam & Springsteen there, among others. Nothing like Los Lobos though. Heck, I've seen them in a bar outside of Wrigley Field and even a zoo so maybe the sound people aren't used to it.
