This town has gone nuts over the game Saturday. I'm always prepared for a Big Orange letdown, such it is as a Vol fan the last few years... We're gonna checkerboard the stadium again. That's an awesome sight to see. I heard of a set of 4 tics for 5 grand on Stubhub.

Yerry, you shoulda committed early in the summer so I could have secured tickets and experienced Neyland at it's absolute finest fo' yo' self.

I gave all my 2015 travel money to the remnants of that hippie band from San Francisco. 🙁

Yeah, but your lodging was taken care of if you could've made it here... That would have helped. Some.

The turntable isn't vintage or budget, but I have less than $200.00 into the Pioneer receiver, Boston Acoustics speakers, and the heavy gauge wire. Grin

Moid, still have my Marantz 2240B amp, BIC turntable and UltraLinear speakers I bought in the mid '70's (1970's not 1870's for the wiseguys out there ;)). They still sound syrupy sweet. Love playing some of the 180 gr albums that I've picked up the last several years on Record Store Day releases. The sound is so rich.

I think of The Monkey Man every time that I do.

I may hafta go plop on the Mule's Stoned Side of The Mule now. Smile

I have a question. How do I search the database to find out when and where the ABB performed a certain song? My Dad, over the weekend, said that he liked a particular version of Come On In My Kitchen and Gregg's vocals from LAFE. I informed him that tune does not appear on LAFE or The Fillmore Concerts and as far as I knew the only Duane era (I mentioned the acoustic version from the disc that was put out in the 90's, not it) version I was aware (that he would have any chance of hearing, as he doesn't have any idea of the other than commercial recordings out there) of was not the ABB, but with Delaney and Bonnie and I didn't think Gregg did the vocals. He seemed to be a little miffed that would be that authoritative about his statement and insisted that it was out there.

So, how do I find a listing of times the tune was performed and whether or not he had any chance of ever hearing it?

I'll have to try and locate my copy, but, was COIMK on that acoustic cd that was released in '92 as a fundraiser for Rhett's Syndrome? I recall Liz Reed, but can't remember the other 5 or 6 songs.

Is that the one with the Indigo Girls on the other side? I have that somewhere. I actually thought they were pretty good. That Lillith Fair or whatever it was called. When I lived in Lansing, MI my lesbian friends went to see them at the arena where M.S.U. plays their home games. Said it was good.

Biased crowd of course. 😉

3. Midnight Rider
4. Southbound (listed as two words on the CD)
5. In Memory of Elizabeth Reed
6. Goin' Down the Road
7. Melissa
8. Midnight Blues

Cool
