Just scored tickets to see John Prine for two nights at the Ryman in March. Can you believe that? 6 months in advance? Saturday night is with Iris DeMent and Friday is Chris Smither. Are any of you guys familiar with Chris Smither?

An old folkie from long ago. I remember him being a frequent guest at The Main Point in the suburbs outside of Philly.

I looked him up - he's 70 years old.

Moid is pulling his pork today!

I rubbed my butt, things got warm, I wrapped my meat then I pulled it!

It turned out really well. Used mostly cherry with a little hickory, a spicy rub, and alternated between apple juice and hot vinegar mops.

Plenty of leftovers if anyone wants to swing by!;)
