So last week one of my bosses tells us we get Memorial Day off. I didn't even think about it but I have never heard of that NOT being a holiday off. Then we get the rest of the holiday schedule for the year. We get half of the day after Thanksgiving off. Half? Which half and why?
Back to Memorial Day. Our office is moving sometime soon. They don't seem to know exactly when and we have to be at the new office on moving day. So this afternoon she asks if we want to do the move on Memorial Day. Why give people the day off (a National holiday btw) and then ask them to work on their paid day off?
