Re-landscaping the front of the house this weekend. Anyone know how to keep aphids off of zinnias? Little munchie bastids took my flowers to town last year. Mad

Sawed off shotgun?

I heard there are beetles and a rare lizard you can import from Malaysia that will eat those suckers, get them on Amazon, what could go wrong?

Just got back from the hospital. Saturday night I got out of bed to use the restroom, tripped on the side of the bed, fell head down on the floor and knocked myself out cold. Cut my chin and had to get stitches. Just got the stitches out.

Been an interesting week.

They won't let us both in the same mental hospital or I would move west.

I just tried to cook something and forgot it was on the stove. The fire alarm went off which I guess was a good thing because I realized I forgot I was cooking. Good thing we have a bunch of fans and the opportunity to open windows. I need to get the stink out before THB gets home.

I think she's on a plane back from Texas so I might have some time! 😉

I tried cleaning the pan. It was so crusty I was bending the tines on the fork I was using. So I just put the bent fork and the burnt pan in the trash. I know she won't miss the fork but I am somewott concerned about her noticing the missing pan.

If I throw it in a dumpster in the back, after a day or two I can honestly say I don't know where it is.

Went to a local crawfish boil today. A local place flew in 300 lbs of those delicious filthy things.

They did a nice job.

I'll be a little later than usual on Friday. Have court at 1:30. Unless it's postponed I won't be in the city until at least 3:30.

Morning

Fun day yesterday. Got to venue in time to catch the last of Joe Louis Walkers set. Really liked what I heard. Sam Bush Band tore it up and was my favorite set of the day. Nick Moss was solid when it was just him but when Coco Montoya and Tinsley Ellis sat in it was a lot better. Nice to finally see Tinsley in a live setting. Also it was a great day for BBQ, Blues & Bluegrass.

That's cool. All those bands are great. And these kind of festivals are always a lot of fun. I got turned on to the blues 25 years ago at one. Never looked back. Smile

Fun and cheap it was $15 a ticket. Of course beer and food added to the cost.
