Friday evening THB and I went out to one of our other local places. This friend of ours was telling me about her 60th birthday party coming up. It is to be held at this jazz bar called "The Green Mill" on the north side of Chicago. This is an old place where Al Capone hung out. They still have tunnels underneath it so he could escape. They kept them.
So she books it and then realizes it was on the same day as The Pride Parade. She had to reschedule. She didn't know. Even I knew when it was. Last Sunday in June. Then she mentions her partner twice. I think the second one was for effect.
THB and I are walking home and I said "Did you know Marci is gay?". Carin was like, "How did you know this?".
I said I just found out, who cares?
