Hi all, I'm new to the trading world. My b-day today, I'm 55. Love the Allman Bros. Looking to get early shows. 1969-1972 if at all possible. I have no ABB to trade but I have a huge Hendrix collection if anyi=one wants to trade Jimi. I prefer CD's if at all possible. I'm not very good with this torrent thing but would be happy to try.
Hi Pete -
If you know how to convert FLAC files to Wav format,I'll send you a few dvds filled with ABB shows in FLAC as a 'freebie' (as long as your in the 'lower 48' USA).
If you're not familiar with the conversion process,it's pretty easy.
Just download Traders Little Helper (TLH).It's a free, small, safe reliable conversion program.
I won't go into how to use it at the moment, but will be more than happy to walk you thru it if you want to try the FLACs and have any questions.
If you'd still prefer the cdrs I'd be happy to do a B&P (blanks & postage) for you.
my trade list: www.phishhook/lists/rer59
the list is under 'reconstruction' at the moment but all of the ABB shows have been checked with analyzer programs and are deemed to be cdda (not mp3).
Not sure if you'll read this since your post is a few months old,but thought I'd try and help...

I came across your post today, as I also am new to trading. I am looking for ABB shows from the early 90's Warren & Woody era of the band. I see that you have a 1990 show from the Seven Turns tour with Johnny Neel on keys. I have a few Gov't Mule and one Pearl Jam show on FLAC for trade. I can also do B & P if you'd like. I do know how to convert FLAC files to WAV files.
Thanks for your consideration. I am excited to start my journey into the trading community.

Hi Rich -
If you want to do FLAC,I'll send you a few dvds filled with shows as freebies.
The only thing I ask in return is that you eventually 'pay-it-forward' when you finally get enough shows collected so you can help somebody else out.
Take a look at my list www.phishhook.com/lists/rer59 and let me know what shows you want - if you'd like some shows other than Allmans that's fine too.
Be sure to click on the 'view' and check any notes about the shows (songs cut, incomplete shows or what ever)
Once I get your list I'll check the shows with the analyzer programs (if they haven't been checked already) and then let you know what's what.
Figure about 4.4 gigs per disc - depending on file size I can usually put 4-7 shows on a disc.
Send me a PM with your mailing addy and the lists of shows you want
Hope this helps,we all had to start somewhere..
