Does this mean I get to bring my kazoo???

Seriously though, is that for real. Y'all just let people up on stage to jam on some duane songs. Cause if I'm reading that correctly, I may just have to participate.

I certainly don't see why not! You should hear some of the people that get up there! Just be sure not to trip over Bluedad's cooler on the way to the stage.

The truth be told, the ragtag jam is some of the most fun to be had. A kazoo would only add to the mayhem.

really though,

If I bring a guitar, am I going to be fighting for space?

If so, I could bring a bass and have a low end war with BDOB.

Or do I sit in my assless chaps on the lawn and just enjoy.

decisions, decisions.

'Twouldn't be the Jam for Duane without the open jam---been an integral part of the way Brent set this up from Day 1. You do need to coordinate through Brent, though.

Another point...do NOT bring amplifiers! A backline, drums, keys will be provided. The venue is VERY Strict about amplifiers not being drug on and off the stage. And remember: Johnny Sandlin is half-owner in the venue. It is specifically set up as a world-class recording studio (the club IS the studio.) World class sound and soundmen!!

All events are BYOB. Coolers welcome. I'll get back on the food situation, probably the same. We may have Mr. Percy Hall to cook for us, not sure.

Brother, I love you, and I damn sure ain't callin' you a liar, but I'll believe it when I see it. (Epiphones don't count. You need to show up with a SHO NUFF Gibson.) Maybe Haisija will show up with a '63 Explorer he's been tellin' us about in Shop Talk.

The Tractor is hum free and I'll be bringin' it over, and anyone who wants to play it (namely Tommy Booth and Frank Marbut from The Skydogs) is welcome to.

Hey Man,

That little EPI SG has convinced me that I need to put another sounds in my bag, and it's gotta be a Gibson

WORD! I know you dig that Epi SG, and if you showed up with that and blondie (the Strat,) I wouldn't throw rocks at you. Like I said, an Epi SG is Shameless Dave's new axe of choice. They do sound DAMN good!

That's why I got the '51 reissue Precision and built the spilt coil Precision (did you see my new picture post in Shop Talk?) I didn't have much to choose from sound wise with 4 Jazz Basses. Sooner or later, I want to get a Gibson bass, either a Thunderbird or an EB-3L. As long as it's a long scale...

Hey man,

Don't read between the lines. Everything in the original post is REAL

Bring your instrument. The hotel jams are great too

And don't ask for anything in my cooler. It is community property
