I would reccomend taking the footswitch out of the cabinet Dave, 2 potential problems, breaking the circuit board and electrocution. This may have been what killed it.

This is my one and only amp at the moment. I just don't have the cash nor the space to keep multiple amplifiers.
Its a Rivera "Quiana Studio", a 50 Watt tube amp with 2 6L6s and 5 preamp tubes. It has one 12 inch speaker which is a Celestion Vinatge 30. It is a two channel amp with master volumes on both. One channel is voiced more like a Marshall and the other is very Fenderish with more headroom. I really like this amp and its pretty versatile. You can get very nice clean tones from it and has plenty of volume when you need it to be there. I have upgraded the first two preamp tubes to a Mullard and a Brimar and that really brought out the best in the amp. I also use high-quality NOS 6L6 power tubes. Putting in quality tubes really makes a difference IMO.

Just called my brother down at Bibb Music in Macon and told him I wanted one of those GDEC Fender's...Little practice amp that is pretty cool. Check it out:
http://www.fender.com/products/gdec/home.php

I've been using a Peavy Classic 30 lately. I can tote the damn thing without throwing my back out, usually.

Bought this from my friend Chad along with my some of my pedals. There are two 12" Celestion Vintage30's Green Back speakers in a purple vinyle covered hand built 11-ply birch cabinet. That's a 50-watt two channel Ampeg EL 34 tube head. And oh, those are George L cables. Literally some of the best cables in the world.

My bass player Chad's rig. SWR SM900 Two Channel 900 watt bass head going into an SWR Goliath 3 tuned 4x10 cabinet. Eden speakers.

I just bought a Mesa Boogie Lone Star 1x12. I traded in a bunch of unused gear plus a bunch of cash for it, but it was well worth it. It's certainly the sweetest sounding amp I've ever owned! I also have a Peavey Classic 20 that I use for home practise.

My main amp is a mid 90's Peavey Classic 50 head, w/ 4x10 cab (as seen in the middle of this pic with my strats, and acoustics). This is the best amp I've ever played on in my 20 years of playing guitar. I'll never get rid of this amp. I retubed the pre section with 5751's. A bit cleaner break-up with these, opposed to standard 12ax7's.

I recently sold this Rivera Quianna:

I also play bass, and here's my bass head (in the studio, with my pedal board on top):
