One I remember is Allman Brothers Raleigh, N. C. 1994. Gregg introduced Tom Dowd who came out and waved to the crowd and Gregg said they are recording tonight's show. The next year two tracks, You Dont Love Me and Jessica, were used on 2nd Set released in 1995.

It didn't sell very well, about 60,000 copies, but Jessica won a Grammy for best rock instrumental.

Most of the tracks were recorded in New Jersey on the album.

Not exactly an album, but the Rolling Stones film Shine-A-Light.

Martin Scorsese filmed the Rolling Stones at the Beacon Theatre on October 29 and November 1, 2006, but the performance footage used in the film is all from the second show. I attended the second show, which was biblical. Half of the Orchestra Seats were ripped out to make room for Mick's catwalks and the filming cameras.

Setlist from November 1, 2006:

Jumpin' Jack Flash

Shattered

She Was Hot

All Down the Line

Loving Cup
(with Jack White)

As Tears Go By

I'm Free

Some Girls
(first time since 1999)

Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me)
(The Temptations cover)

Far Away Eyes

Champagne & Reefer
(Muddy Waters cover) (with Buddy Guy)

Tumbling Dice

You Got the Silver
(Keith Richards on lead vocals)

Connection
(Keith Richards on lead vocals )

Sympathy for the Devil

Live With Me
(with Christina Aguilera)

Honky Tonk Women

Start Me Up

Encore:
Brown Sugar

(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction

David Bowie at Boston Garden on May 6th, 1978 (the first show I saw without adult supervision.) Some of the songs performed at the show were featured on his live 'Stage' album which was released later that year.

Nirvana at The Reading Festival on August 30th, 1992. The entire show was released years later (in 2009) as a live album and DVD.

The Allman Brothers Band at Great Woods on September 6th, 1991 (which was released on VHS in 1992) and I also saw them at the same venue on September 19th, 1998 (which was broadcast live as a pay-per-view cable TV special.)

There might be some more I can't recall or might not be aware of at the moment but those four were probably the most memorable.

Do ABB Instant Lives count in this thread? I was at two gems, Wanee 2007, and have both discs.

Les Brers In A Minor which opened the first night was nothing short of EPIC!! It blew the crowd backwards and they just did not let up for 2-1/2 hours.

Yeah, I also thought about the 'Instant Live' recordings after my other post. I'd have to dig through my box of old concert tickets to figure out the exact dates but I'll guess I probably attended between 25 to 30 of those shows over the years that they were doing them. I only own two of those, The ABB at Great Woods in Mansfield, MA on August 29, 2009 and Les Brers at Hampton Beach Casino in Hampton Beach, NH on September 8, 2016.

Cool topic, lots of great shows/albums listed. The only one I can think of is RL Burnside: Burnside on Burnside, recorded at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland Oregon on January 21st, 2001. Available on Fat Possum Records. The late great king of North Mississippi Hill Country Blues!!!!

Also- the ABB instant live of Portland in 2009...
