I agree.
Canceled two shows already and I have three more shows this year that will in all likelihood get cancelled as well…..

One of the local venues has drive in shows. Another has the "Outdoor 6 foot cafe"

Both places normally have frequent name entertainment as weel as local acts (for example, I've seen acoustic hot Tuna, Steve Kimock, Quinn Sullivan, Jonathan Edwards) but now it's only the local guys. Still, live music.

Missing TTB, Alanis Morissette, and Newport Jazz Fest

I've been going to around 12 to 30 shows a year since the late 70's, so this current situation is the longest stretch I've gone without going out to see music performed live in 43 years. The way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if it takes until 2021 before I go out to see another live show.

Heard on the news today that the old drive inn movies that still exist are looking into having named bands play live while we social distance in our cars.

I have averaged attending one show a week for at least, I want to say, the last ten years and have seen close to 1400 shows since 1976. Ever since I have retired in 2014, I have seen shows in probably 20 different states and five countries. Guess what? I am not rushing back. Not going to see bands in a drive in situation nor am I going to pay for streaming. I have adapted and I am surviving without shows.

I am really hoping to go back to seeing shows in 2021. I will also be a lot pickier about what I see and certainly will not be buying tickets months or a year in advance any longer. It took me forever to get my refunds for the 15 shows I had tickets for.

Saw that also.It was very good.

Over the last few weeks.I think I've DVRed and watched almost every episode of BackStage Pass,Front and Center,The Kate,ACL,Lost River Sessions,Songs at the Center,Infinity Hall Live,,song of the Mountains,Sun Studio Sessions,Lowertown Line,Live From The Artists Den,and Berlin Live

Seen everything from bluegrass to a finnish/French pop band to a feminist punk band

I've seen a number of artists I already loved(Rhiannon Giddens) or were at least familiar wth(check out Danielle Nicole for some blues) and a bunch I didn't know at all. Some were good, some were not my cup of tea,but it's been interesting with no live shows.

Right now I'm watching a band called Paddlebots that sound pretty good.

Just saw some live music for the first time since March. It was a local act playing on a stage downtown during peoples lunch hour. I'd say around 100 people were there and spread out, it was good to see some live music.

The Allman Betts Band just announced a tour beginning in August with many of the dates in Florida. The ad mentions masks and social distancing are required, I realize these guys ha e to make a living but this is way too soon.

Exactly.

Insane to book dates in the South, of all places.

They have now cancelled it.

Never should have been booked to begin with.

The Green Mill, an iconic jazz club on the north side of Chicago is opening. I'm not a huge jazz fan but the place is cool. Al Capone used to hang out there. Might see if the wife wants to go there tonight.
