Not to sound like a know it all but I don't know how you could have been 1-3 because one was a tie. Unless your line was different of course.

I get what you're saying, but I'm not a gambler, the lines/over/under/points stuff is all arbitrary to me. I just like football and picking winners and losers, and there are no ties in the playoffs.

Gotcha. True, a game can't end in a tie in the playoffs of course. Betting is a different animal. That's why 3 and 7 point lines are important Because a game could hang on a FG or TD. I think it is kind of fun looking at the lines. There is a website I look at and I'll have a game on TV and one of my computers up and sometimes you can actually see the line move based on a play. Could be as simple as a first down and the line can move. Crazy but that's Vegas for ya!

I liked NO and KC. So much for that. If they survive, and they should, KC v Balt should be an awesome game. NFC...tough call. Can't see GB winning in SF.

I'm pullin' for Andy Reid.

NO surprised me. I actually took a flier on NO to win it all. So much for that. Before the season started I did pick KC to get there. But I had them against the Rams. So much for that too!

I don't have a rooting interest but I'm with you on KC. I really like Andy Reid. I think he got screwed by Philly. What a great coach.

I'm on the Big Red bandwagon myself. Great coach, classy guy. Hoping for SF-KC in the Supe.

Mahomes is the most exciting QB in football (sorry, Lamar, work on your no-look pass).

I'm all in for a SBI rematch KC-GB

Hey Brendan, good to see ya.

Yeah, Reid's a stand up guy. He deserves a ring. Good games this weekend. Ya gotta love it.

Isn’t this the 50th year of Baltimore’s SB victory when Colts hero Jim O’Brien kicked the winning FG
So maybe Ravens-KC, no wait....
Saw the mention before porkchopbob, yeah the Pats came up short - IMO they & Brady can return to form next season, this was their first slump in quite a spell - hope the Packers do well (gotta mention the Bucks too, wow)

It is! Super Bowl V was also played in Miami, where this year's Super Bowl will be played. Also, it was the first Super Bowl post-merger.

Bucks are having a crazy good season, C's are right behind them.

I'm pushing for the Packers. I am a Colts fan, but when I was growing up in my formative years, late 70's, I was living in Wisconsin for a bit and they were my team. I still root for them. I like Rodgers.

I did not realize till a couple of weeks ago Clay Matthews was not with them any more. On the Rams.
What happened?

The Packers dumped a lot of huge veteran contracts in the past 2 seasons. Matthews spent a lot of time on the sideline the past couple seasons. Looks like he had a decent 2019 season in LA.

I think Dom Capers wasted Matthews for a few years putting him at Inside LB, rather than an edge rusher. But I also think teams that wait too long to move on to new talent watch a lot of football from home in January. Za'darious Smith has been a huge upgrade this season, and Clay got to play pro ball in his old college stadium, so it kind of all worked out.

What is the significance of KC for the 100 year thing? Weren't they founded in the old AFL by Lamarr Hunt in the early 60s?

Because it would be a rematch of Super Bowl I - can you imagine the nostalgia?

Oh yeah, makes sense. I love the story about how the idea came about. Something about a little girl and a toy, a super BALL? Maybe Hunt's kid?

Regarding last weeks lines, no games pushed on our numbers. Pretty common for different outlets to have lines off a half here or there or with different juice.

Speaking of lines...three road dogs getting some hefty points for divisional games. Seattle getting four, I'll take GB.

Wings, homemade pizza later.

Enjoy the games, amigos!

Yeah, you guys are right about the lines. I tied that Bills game last week. Could have bought a half point and would have won. Didn't expect to win the Minnesota game but did.

The Packer game line is interesting. Two days ago it was 5. Yesterday was 4.5. This morning I see 4. I like Seattle. Guess I should have taken them earlier. Oh well, I still like them.

On one of the ESPN shows this morning they had the list of all-time running backs who have rushed for over 180 yards in three straight games. Here is the list:

1. Derrick Henry

That's it! Only guy to have ever done it. Wow.

Against Hou, NE and Balt., if I'm remembering right. Not bad. Also he ran for 200 or so against KC some time back.

That young man is a problem.

One of the best to come into the league in a long time alright - somewhat reminiscent of former KC great Christian Okoye in his 1st few years - big, fast, shifty
Can’t help but recall impossible-to-tackle former Colts TE John Mackey in Henry too

WOW. Ravens huh? Dolphins have to be feeling pretty bummed with Tannehil and the Titans knocking Baltimore in the teeth on their way to the AFC Championship. I didn't think they could stop the Ravens, and I don't think they can't beat the Chiefs, so who knows. But really, the Chiefs look really good. With Mahomes missing a few games this season, they practically flew under the radar. And the Texans gave them a pretty big gut check. If you were just checking the score, you had to be wondering if you were reading it right.

Packers eeked one out after the Seahawks woke up and Wilson decided to take over. They got rocked by SF earlier in the season, maybe they've learned a thing or two. They will have to keep it close if they want to win.
