...spraying Lysol as I enter the Lounge...

Hi, anybody home? How are we all feeling? So far so good at our house, trying not to feel too couped up. I have plenty of home projects since we just moved. Sending love to everyone and hope we all get through this crazy time in the world. At least we have our music!! Couldn't live without it!

Hey Peg, and other loungers.

Had to cut my Feb/March Florida trip short. We were in Key West on week 3 and I heard rumors that Trump was considering a domestic travel ban. There are a lot of worse places to get stranded, but still decided to end the trip early. Son is heading home from Manhattan tomorrow. Daughter is a school reading specialist, and Delaware's state of emergency has ended all schooling. So starting tomorrow, everyone is "back" home with Mom and Dad.

I guess it could be worse. I hope everyone is practicing "social distancing" and keeping those hands cleaned. Stay healthy my friends.

Hi Peg, Rich and all you other dear Lounge Friends as I have a supressed immune system and am therefore in the "high risk" group with regards to virus effects, I am keeping a low profile at the moment no gigs, no pubs, no restaurants, just once a week trips to the supermarket for food as required but I am still getting out in the fresh air for the occasional coastal stroll (keeping a safe distance from others) and there are plenty of jobs for me to do around the house and garden, with lots of music to listen to while doing them (thanks to the generosity of many of you lounger friends) be safe and keep well y'all ...

Hunkering down in Skantown.

Stressing big time with the financial hit this will have.

My local little league pics are the first bit of decent income I have coming out of the unemployment winter.

I expect they will cancel the season since it looks like school may be done for the year.

That also means no $ for graduation pics.

With a serious hit to the economy I don't see my mulch business doing sh!t this summer either.

As for the farm, we don't know if we will even have a Farmers Market yet and the roadside stand may be a thief's wet dream compared to the usual.

Right now I am not in a good place, financially or emotionally.

Add to that confirmed cases where Jeanne's elderly parents live and this guy is not a happy camper.

Sorry for your losses Ron. I guess I didn't think about all the ancillary events/programs and the associated losses that will happen due to the CDC's recommendations.

Hopefully you can find some way to turn things around in your favor, even if partially.

Colin, keep doing what works for you. At the end of this, best scenario is our lives were only mildly disrupted for a few weeks/months.

Hope everyone else heeds the advice and makes sound decisions for their selves and their families.

Everyone is now home at my casa, seems like old times, except now they are young adults instead of teenagers!

Hey Ron I am sorry that on top of everything else that you are facing such financial implications I hope this thing passes and people not only survive with their lives but also their livelihoods whilst I am medically at risk, which is a bit scary, at least being retired with a private pension I am not so immediately worried about the financial implications of the pandemic as long as my pension provider remains solvent of course!

Wishing you and Jeanne (and of course her parents) well stay safe my friend

Good Morning Loungers.

The Governor of Delaware has said there will be "Stay at home" order until May 15.
That's 8 weeks from now. So hard to believe it has have come to this.

Serious measures indeed.

Keep your distance, wash your hands, and just ride the wave until it's over.

See 'ya.

The UK has just been put on lock down today and as I am in the "at risk" group I have been advised to stay at home for the next 12 weeks I think I actually feel psychologically better for this edict as I feel a bit safer unfortunately it is impossible to get home food deliveries at the moment so Jan still needs to go out once a week to get food in other than that risk I am quite happy to sit in the conservatory with a cold beer and start listening to my music collection stay safe and well my friends

I have never posted on this thread before but I just wanted to say how very saddened I am at the passing of Homeboy. This sucks.

Good Morning Loungers.
I hope all (and there families and friends) are doing well during these uncertain times.
I just found the the following show on bt.etree.com:

The Brothers Celebrating 50 Years Of The Allman Brothers Band
Madison Square Garden
New York City, New York
3/10/2020

Source: Schoeps CCM4V's>Lunatec V2>Sound Devices 722 (24/44.1)
SOB/DRFC/KFC/ZFC/ADA/AARP Section 105, Row 1, Seat 3, 7' High
DSP: Sound Devices 722>Sound Forge 10.0>CD Wave>flac(16)
ID3 Tagged In Foobar 2000
Recorded By: Z-Man
Seeded By: Z-Man

It has helped to pass some of the time. Interesting to hear songs you have heard Gregg sing forever,
be sung by someone else. Comforting to see and hear a show with Warren and Derek on lead guitars again.
There are also some youtube videos of most of the songs from that night as well.

Enjoy the time with your family and friends.

Later...

Thanks to a friend I have a video of the whole Brothers show on my hard drive. Unfortunately it is too long to put onto a dvd and I do not have the technology or skill to split it and do so, but thankfully I can plug my laptop into the tv to watch it.

It was a great show and I wish I had been able to be there
