Bob Dylan will play his first U.S. dates of 2019 this fall.

He's spent part of the year touring Europe but just announced 28 shows across the U.S.

Dylan will launch the shows on Oct. 11 at the UC Irvine Bren Events Center in Irvine, Calif., and wrap it all up at the Met in Philadelphia on Nov. 21. Tickets for the dates up to and including Nov. 2 in Muncie, Ind., go on sale Sept. 13; the remaining concerts will become available on Sept 20.

You can see all the dates below and check Dylan's website for complete information.

Much of the Dylan news in 2019 has centered on a pair of projects commemorating his famous but shambolic Rolling Thunder Revue. In early June, a 14-CD set containing five full shows and rehearsals from that mid-'70s trek arrived on record store shelves. A few days later, a Martin Scorsese-directed documentary about the tour was released on Netflix.

Dylan closed out his European dates in July with a pair of co-headlining shows with his old friend Neil Young. The last of those evenings, at Nowlan Park in Kilkenny, Ireland, featured the two performing a duet on the Carter Family hymn "Will the Circle Be Unbroken," the first time they'd shared a stage since a 1994 date at New York's Roseland Ballroom. The two previously performed the song in San Francisco in 1975.

Thanks! Stanford show is 20 miles from me but it's on a Monday night which makes it really tough for a working stiff like me.

Dylan - Nobel prize winner hats off to this musician/lyricist but caught him 20 years ago and the vocals were just gone. He played 45 minute set that was barely listenable. Did I see a bad show or is that what you are going to see? Once was more than enough.

I've seen Bob 20-30 times, starting in the late '70's. During the '90's he was still partying and often phoning it in. I still went because it was Bob. But I was getting jaded, too. Talking trash. Then I went to a show, expecting what you described and he was nothing like that. He talked to the audience, he danced on stage, he played songs that people loved and knew and he put everything into it! It shut me up real quick. After that, I saw him with Van Morrison and Joni Mitchell at the Gorge and it was great. Saw him at the student union in Eugene and he floored me, just killed it.
Saw him many times and he can be hit or miss, but he's Bob. He doesn't play much guitar lately, he has started to play some oldies (real oldies, like Sinatra stuff) but he can still bring it. It's not for everyone, but it's Bob. It's like going to church: You might not like it every time, but you need to pay your respects...lol!

I like Bob Dylan and understand his place in music history, but went to one of the last set of Beacon shows he did and that was enough for me. Talented band in support, but his performance was not inspiring and boy was he hard to understand!

Saw them last night.
Best performance I’ve seen from Bob in about 7 years.
His voice is strong,(new and old)lyrics are funny and provocative.
Band is same-a new drummer and added a second guitarist. Gives Charlie room to soar.
A more rocking show as well.
Sensational-but I am biased-I’ve liked most of his live shows I’ve seen since 1974.
