Thread: How messed up is this country when...

local police find a man who murdered his grandmother and was caught eating her body when the police arrived, and it doesn't even make the local 11:00 pm news broadcast?

https://www.kron4.com/news/bay-area/richmond-man-arrested-for-allegedly-try ing-to-eat-grandmothers-body/

Seriously, the story was reported by the various stations on-line, but failed to make the TV news broadcast.

2112, if You want to get more than a casual glance and a yawn, You can't come with a weak, run of the mill cannibal story!!! You got any bath salt zombies at least?? My neighbor lady has a nephew maybe 45yrs old. He kiiled his 70+yr old girlfriend and stuffed her in the freezer and went on with life, this is a small town, when an officer finally did open the the freezer after a year or so, they said he was quite shocked.............zzzzzzzzz..............joe

The link had another story about the same thing happening in 2017 when someone killed his girlfriend, then ate her body

This guy - right out in the open, on a street - cannibalizing

Man, extremely sick, in the case in my town, I looked it up, this guy was declared sick, but if he gets well, I guess he goes to prison.
Is apocalyptic insanity really this prevalent? Historically and statistically, has it always been this bad? Is there anything at all we can do?.............joe

That is always something I wonder about too. Are there more twisted and evil people now, or is it reported more (in the case of the thread's story under reported), or as a % of crime/murder in proportion is it about the same?

The deadliest US school tragedy remains a bombing from 1927. And you have things like Lizzie Borden. The vast majority of serial killers are documented in the last 60 years, however there were a few from earlier in the 1900s (Atlanta Ripper, Belle Gunness, Earle Nelson, Jake Bird). Stories of mothers who kill their own children, you can find stories from way back, but it seems all the more common now. Were there more then and they got away with it so we never know?

I really am curious if there has ever been some kind of comprehensive comparison on some of our more heinous and gruesome crimes of the past to the frequency they seem to happen now.

Not trying to be sarcastic but mad cow disease happened because if eating cows. Couldn't he get some type of mad brain disease eating a human, in a case like that he ought to just be shot and killed to prevent as ny more carnage like that. Why do we keep people like this alive?

lol at the OP! When I first read the article the other day I just laughed and said out loud, "God Bless the USA!"

This is the most insane/stressed I've seen the country. At least with 9/11, society had its routines. These "daze", routines are all jacked up. School had ended and now what are the parents to do with kids that still basically have to stay at home. It's really going to get crazy especially when the summer weather rears its ugly head.

Be safe everyone. Biden 2020.

I know, people that do this, when caught in the act, let's just rid world of them. Put them down like we would an animal.

Itís amazing the power of cults
A doomsday cult leader got 64 years on Tuesday in the deaths of two sisters, 10 & 8
It happened in 2017 - not far from the tony up$cale ski town Telluride Colo
Why should it take so long???
Know it was a few years ago - but the country is still getting more & more messed up, W/Seemingly No End In Sight
Itís not just Covid spreading, so is the beginnings of an alarm growing more palpable by the day along w/the positive test readings
Story doesnít say if cult has operated since
