OIL - We'll start off with that.
Libya, the land we liberated from Moammar Qaddafi, has lost all it's oil production.
"Libya’s National Oil Company has confirmed that is has lost virtually all of its oil production, at 1.2 million barrels per day of oil production, and $77 million in daily financial loss, according to the Libya Herald.
NOC has confirmed that the ports of Hariga, Brega, Sidra, and Ras Lanuf ports are closed and under force majeure.
The US Embassy in Libya today announced that the NOC should be allowed to immediately resume oil operations that have been offline since this weekend, after groups loyal to General Khalifa Haftar blocked all major oil ports. The US cited a worsening humanitarian emergency in the country.
The NOC responded favorably to the US calls for resuming oil production, but said that “operations can only resume when illegal blockades are lifted. Blockading hurts Libyan people and inflicts severe damage to the country’s economy. All responsible parties should lift blockades and respect rule of law.”

BP quits Kirkuk Oilfield. Nice of the Brits to manage the Iraqi oil isn't it? Nice of the US to liberate Iraq so foreign companies could help out those nice Iraqi people who have already told the US they want out troops to leave their land.

Solemeini's assassination jeopardizes the field in Iraq. Did any of the folks in DC consider that before assassinating him? Oh well if oil prices go up here, it's okay. Right? Remember 2008 Exxon made 400% profit and we were paying $3.47 at the pump? Will the coincental events that occur make it seem acceptable to the US people to go and take Iranian oil, with the 'it's us vs. them, we need it, they have it, we take it'.

SOUTH KOREA SENDING SHIPS TO THE STRAITS OF HORMUZ
Is this supposed to help the Iranian situation? I don't think it will.

Oil folks in the US have already determined the Marcellus shale deposits in upper NYS, PA will not yield what is necessary. The big companies are focusing on Texas. [Permian Basin].
Chesapeake Energy was very profitable for awhile, but their CEO died in what many speculate was a suicide. The company was heavily invested in the Marcellus shale deposits.
"The founder and former CEO of Chesapeake Energy and a part owner in the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball team, McClendon died in March when he slammed his speeding Chevrolet Tahoe into a highway embankment and the vehicle burst into flames.
At the time, Balderrama said the cause of the crash seems "pretty cut and dry."
"He pretty much drove straight into the wall," Balderrama said on March 2, according to NBC affiliate KFOR. "The information out there at the scene is that he went left of center, went through a grassy area right before colliding into the embankment. There was plenty of opportunity for him to correct and get back on the roadway and that didn't occur."
You want to poke around start here.
SOME still say the Utica (NY) and PA, WV, Ohio Marcellus Shale is still a big thing. Fracking to get the gas will cause earthquakes. Fracking is something that should be abandoned. Why can't these companies use solar energy? Oh yeah they cannot make big profits off the sun's energy. No patents there.

Nope I am not getting into Bezos's phone and info. being hacked and another sordid article about Jared Kushner allegedly authorizing the arrest of Jamal Kashoggi. Nope. Not going there but Congress ought to look into these things. Bezos wants to know who jacked his phone and info.
[Press TV from Iran].
"Kushner’s ties with the crown prince have come under scrutiny after it was learned that the White House official was communicating on the online messaging service WhatsApp with bin Salman. Kushner reportedly called Khashoggi a “terrorist” in an off-the-record conversation with a reporter.
In May, Newsweek cited US journalist Michael Wolff as saying in an upcoming book that Kushner said of the slain Khashoggi, “This guy was the link between certain factions in the royal family and Osama [bin Laden]. We know that. A journalist? Come on. This was a terrorist masquerading as a journalist.”

LEBANON - their government was/is failing. A new one is coming out. Some say it is Hezbollah all the way.
gina - 1/24/2020 at 10:45 PM
BEZOS HACKING, ISRAELI SPYWARE DEVELOPER etc.
I was not going to get into this, but there is too much to ignore. Firstly, the Crown Prince of Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman was accused of HIS phone sending a hacking file to Jeff Bezos' phone. The Kingdom denies this, but Bezos said he had a private company look into the matter and they still think the hack came from an infected file.
Firstly, the program in the file is called Pegasus. It is from an Israeli software developer. Now normally I would say it's Mossad doing it spying on everybody, EXCEPT Saudi bought the program. So they must have planned to use it and there are those considered activists/dissidents who believe it has and is being used on them.
The UN report points to Pegasus malware, developed by the cyberarms dealer NSO Group, which has adapted it for use on numerous iOS and Android versions over the past four years. Saudi Arabia first bought Pegasus from NSO Group in November 2017, according to the UN. Investigators suggest Galileo, a Hacking Team product, as another possibility. Analysis of those tools by third-party and academic researchers have shown that both are capable of compromising a device and accessing almost any data on it, from text messages, calls, contacts, and emails to apps, browsing history, and even location data.
"Our technology cannot be used on US phone numbers. Our products are only used to investigate terror and serious crime. Any suggestion that NSO is involved is defamatory.
“It sounds like whatever implant they had self-destructed and wasn't there when they went for the forensics,” says Dave Aitel, chief security technology officer at the secure infrastructure firm Cyxtera and a former NSA analyst. “It seems about right that you would have a self-destruct capability on any real implant. And US investigators probably have other classified information that validates their attribution.”
Additionally, Facebook patched a vulnerability in November that "could be triggered in WhatsApp by sending a specially crafted MP4 file to a WhatsApp user."
Pegasus has been linked to the death of the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, and it was reportedly used to track a student in Canada who was critical of the Saudi government. "His name is Omar Abdulaziz," Scott-Railton said. "He's a Saudi critic going to college in Montreal. We found that his infected phone was bouncing back and forth between his home network and his university gym over last summer."
descriptions of the photos used to blackmail Bezos.
The FBI reportedly stopped a Saudi plot to kidnap a You Tuber on US soil after he criticized MBS for Jamal Kashoggi’s killing.
• The plot was only foiled when the FBI caught them just as their plane arrived into LAX, the Beast said.
• The critic, 27-year-old Abdulrahman Almutairi, used social media to criticize Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman over the brutal murder of the Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi.
gina - 1/24/2020 at 11:01 PM
So what is going on here? We know MBS (the Crown Prince of Arabia) has plans for development, investment and modernization in the Kingdom in what is called Vision 2030. We know he is in contact with high level important people politically and from business sectors.
We know read that Arabia bought an Israeli spy program, the program believed to have hacked into Jeff Bezos's phone. Why target him? He owns the Washington Post, the newspaper Jamal Kashoggi worked for. Jamal Kashoggi, the ex-loyal whistleblower on the Saudi Royal family, who was ultimately murdered in Turkey when he went to the Saudi Embassy under the belief he would get the necessary papers to marry his fiance who was waiting outside. He got murdered, dismembered and his body parts never found. Those in the embassy at the time, involved or witnessing the incident flew away in two airplanes. Some were sentenced to death, others not.
Were the Arabs getting the goods on Bezos so that his paper would now have to start saying complimentary things about them, or at least stop publishing dissident points of view?
Is this what it has come to? People from other countries can hold US citizens/businessmen hostage by info. they get from spying? Our govt. spies on people. I think it was Comey who admitted that the FBI sent trojan horses to US citizens computers as a way to get in there to spy on them.
Dissidents hiding from Saudi Arabia are so scared they don't even want to hide out here in the land of the free, they go to Canada where they are more likely to have some rights.
It is partially the fault of the US, our intel agencies pay top dollar for spy programs to spy on our people and everybody else, but you don't know whose hands it will end up in, and who died and left Israel boss to develop stuff to spy on everybody and then demand THEY need protection because people want to obliterate them. Why don't they just spy and find out who, what, when, why and then report in to us, then we can send a drone and kill people internationally because we assigned that right to ourselves to be the global sheriff and execution squad ignoring state sovereignty because it may be in disagreement with our political agenda(s) at any time.
We all worry what if solar flares take the grid down. I am starting to see the positivism in that. Yes it will be hard in this country, but you might finally not be spied on. Imagine a day without being spied on. That's how it used to be before high-tech. We are waaay beyond George Orwell's 1984 and if the globalists have their way things will only get worse with artificial intelligence making decisions even the corrupt politicians cannot come up with.

Bezos continued 1-26-20
Over the last couple of days the narrative is now that it was not the Saudis that sent the pictures of Bezos to the National Enquirer, it was Bezos' fiance Laura Sanchez sent the naughty pictures to her brother who sold them to the Enquirer? Whaaat. Does this make sense to anyone? But there is more.
As I mentioned under the new impeachment thread, this is quite disturbing.
"The Guardian’s revelations about the effort by US and British authorities to ensure Cengiz was protected follows a report by the Washington Post columnist David Ignatius that the US state department recently rejected a proposal by a US defence company, DynCorp, to train Saudi intelligence services because the kingdom did not have “proper safeguards in place to prevent lawless covert operations” like the killing of Khashoggi."
Comments: The US has agencies like Dyn Corp who can train foreign nationals in other countries to spy for the US. The software used to spy on the beleagured Mr. Bezos was from an Israeli company. The idea that Saudis would buy ANYTHING from Israel is beyond comprehension. They will not even allow someone who has an Israel stamp in their passport book to enter the country. But they buy software from them? Did they even KNOW the software was from an Israeli company, or were they sold a bill of goods by the US or someone else because whoever sold it to them KNEW they could use it to spy on the Saudis. SPYING in Islam is not acceptable. Most Muslims know that.
This seems like another intel operation to spy on the arabs, possibly on Bezos and blame it on someone else etc.

Yes this should be under weather and it will go there also, but it is coming under here because IF the world does not do something about the climate change and other problems coming (cosmic rays through the magnetosphere, ability to stop the asteroid debris fields debris from entering our atmosphere, the consequences will become catastophic - ie. it has been said by an astronomer/scientist that California will have the BIG quake when an asteroid hits Jupiter and the debris from that come to our atmosphere. It will happen in two segments, the first one will just cause earthquakes, the second one five months later will cause a big piece to fall into the Pacific Ocean [space stuff comes in at 36,000 miles per hour], the jolt from that will cause the BIG one separating California from the rest of the US. They know this, yet you hear nothing.]
Kristalina Georgieva said during a session at Davos on Thursday: “The big eye opener was when last year I read IPCC report. I tell you, I could not sleep that night.”
The UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in 2018 published a landmark report warning that there are just 12 years left to limit planetary warming to 1.5 degrees this century.
The report, which took two years to compile, warned that warming above this threshold would severely increase the risk of droughts, floods, extreme heat, and poverty.
“All I could think of was my 8-year-old granddaughter,” Georgieva saiad. “What have we done? By the times she’s 20 there could be 100 million more poor people because of climate change. By the time she’s 40 there could be over 100 million climate refugees. If she lives to be 90 and the temperature is 3 to 4 degrees warmer, this planet will be barely liveable.”
Comments: President Trump does not think there is a problem with climate change. Many others have said well I am old, I'll be dead before it all happens so why should I worry about it? Your grandchildren will deal with it.

Is the government doing anything about these things? Yes they have plans, at least to try to deflect asteroids. But like the missile shield program we use which is 99% effective at stopping incoming nukes, you only need one to get thru and there will be serious problems. In 2022 an asteroid will be out there.
"That's the possibility the European Space Agency (ESA) and NASA want to investigate with their Asteroid Impact and Deflection Assessment (AIDA) mission, proposed to launch in 2020. And Monday (Nov. 14), a group of planetary scientists and space experts released a letter here at Berlin's Museum für Naturkunde to drum up support for the asteroid-nudging test run, just weeks before European officials will decide whether to go ahead with the mission.
AIDA is really two missions: ESA's Asteroid Impact Mission (AIM) and NASA's Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART). Both would fly to the binary asteroid system Didymos, which is set to pass within 6.8 million miles (11 million kilometers) of Earth in 2022.
This binary system consists of the 2,625-foot-wide (800 m) asteroid Didymos and its smaller "moonlet," Didymoon, which, at just 560 feet (170 m) in diameter, is about same size as the Great Pyramid of Giza.
If the mission goes ahead as planned, the AIM spacecraft (which would be about the size of an office desk) will launch in October 2020 and arrive at Didymos in June 2022 to study the asteroid system and put a lander on Didymoon. AIM will also have a front-row seat to witness DART's impact with Didymoon. When DART crashes, it will slightly adjust the orbit of Didymoon around Didymos, testing the type of technology that could one day be used knock a dangerous asteroid off its trajectory."

13 minutes ago. Iran launched a Katyusha rocket that hit the M1 US airbase near Kirkuk near where the troops are. It is 935 pm there now. What is troubling is on Thursday Iran threatened to strike Israel and the US for the 40 day anniversary of the assassination of General Solemeini.
P.S. The US decision to suppress news from Fars news is ill- advised. We have a right to know.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper,
Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani
Met regarding peace plan wit the Taliban. They say they have a 7 day ceasefire worked out. No official response has come from the Taliban.
In Munich,Germany Esper further had this to say regarding the proposed peace plan
"Esper told reporters that if the plan is successful, the US would cut the number of troops stationed in Afghanistan from 12,000 to 8,600."
REMARKS: Everyone wants the war to end, except of course Isis, they want a global caliphate and to re-conquer al Quds, Jerusalem. General Dostum said that if it is proven there was fraud in the Afghan elections, he will help to run a "parallel government". General Dostum oversaw a brutal massacre of Taliban in the deserts of Dasht-i-Lal, they will NOT work with him for any kind of parallell government.
Regarding the other Talibs, Shehyrar Mehsud, Successor Amir to the Pakistani Taliban, formed his own group Jamaat ul Abrar. He was recently assassinated.
However, one of the original Pakistani Taliban under the guidance and jihad of Baitullah and Hakimullah Mehsud, spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan who had been under wraps by the Pakistan Army Intelligence wing, escaped his captivity and is very happy to be free.
Khalid Haqqani who also had a separate faction of Taliban Hizb-Ahrar was assassinated.
For peace to occur in Afghanistan, the Afghan Army needs to do a ceasefire, the US needs to stop drone attack and other assassinations, and Isis cannot be in Afghanistan.
