Thread: Trump won't listen to 'terrible' murder recording

LeglizHemp - 11/18/2018 at 10:15 PM

What a pussy, isn't it his job to listen to hard stuff?

He is such a tough guy. He would run into a school to stop an active shooter, but he won't listen to that tape, visit troops in a combat zone, fire anyone in person or go out in the rain.

His bone spurs need to be bubble wrapped.

sckeys - 11/18/2018 at 11:08 PM

I donít get him slapping down the CIA like that and gets his Sec of State to back it. Surely nobody, Democrat or Republican, is buying this.

LeglizHemp - 11/19/2018 at 12:09 AM

jkeller wins the whipping post today,

crazyjoe - 11/19/2018 at 03:03 PM

Well, he may not want to listen to these tapes, (I don't either, unpleasant business) but it seems I recall he sure was in a hellfire hurry to jump in and guide his murderous, killer, Saudi Pals a ready made alibi and excuse??? It was so obvious what he was saying was horse **** that he gave up on that pretty quick......... Peace..............joe

Not so fast. Son in law, Jared has a cozy financial relationship with the Saudis, and we wouldn't want to get in the way of that. Isn't that more important in Trump World? All in the family.

allmanned - 11/20/2018 at 03:28 PM

Trump hes BAT **** CRAZY.

gina - 11/20/2018 at 11:10 PM

He said he was given a full briefing on everything that was on the tapes. The CIA director, Gina Haspel (who was nicknamed bloody Gina) for her authorization of the brutality of interrogations done at CIA torture black sites. She listened to the tapes and probably did tell him what was on there. Sometimes what you see, hear or even read creates images so horrible, they become unforgettable. Trump did not feel that he needed to listen to the gory details for whatever his reasons were.

Unless you have heard or seen these really gross things, you cannot understand why someone would not want to hear or watch it. I still remember seeing images of bodies burned by white sulfur, bodies in Israel of Palestinians who were killed and had their organs taken out of their bodies to sell on the black market. I watched part of a beheading video but it got too gruesome I could not watch the rest of it. The head of Tajikistan (Karimov) kills dissidents by putting them in vats of scalding hot water will their bodies boil them to death. I know what they do in the black sites how they torture people, I have read accounts of that too.

Again, unless you have seen or read very descriptive accounts of these things you may not understand why out of even curiosity someone would not want to hear the video. I understand.

I thought you were Bloody Gina... Nevermind.

Trump doesn't believe MBS has anything to do with the murder. Be he won't listen to the tape. He is a coward. And he is afraid of the personal financial repercussions if he takes a stance against Saudi Arabia.

sckeys - 11/21/2018 at 12:30 AM

Trump has made his stance known now. He is fine with it. He cited more of the huge numbers that he claims makes them so important to America. What happened to the evangelical and fox criticism of Saudi for their treatment of Christians?

MarkRamsey - 11/21/2018 at 03:10 AM

Exactly! No need to listen to the recording because regardress of what was on it, it would make no difference to him. Trump does what is best for Trumpís businesses. Nothing else matters.

The evangelicals have a become a one issue sector. Their only issue is conservatives on the Supreme Court. They punted on morals & values once Trump became their ticket to the SCOTUS.

FOX is not worth mentioning.

Not just Jared, Trump himself has a decades old financial relationship with the Saudi Royal Family....They've bailed his incompetent @ss out numerous times over the years. Everything Trump does is to benefit Trump...America first? Yeah, right Donnie...Biggest con man ever to occupy the White House.

Yesterday I read a two year old story about Khashoggi.

Seems the reason he was banned from Saudi Arabia wasn't his criticism of the government, it was his criticism of then president elect trump.

Surprise!

sckeys - 11/23/2018 at 04:16 PM

Iím just happy to watch republicans defend saudi day after day.

What do you photo Ron? I seen a post where you mentioned sports teams.

They support and defend the Crown Prince Mohamed and Vladimir Putin, while trashing American war heroes and judges. Itís going to suck for them after Trump is gone. How can anyone defend or even explain this behavior?

They're afraid of Trumps base of support....Also, keep in mind that the Saudi Royal family has a very well funded and entrenched lobby in Washington that has held great sway over both political parties for many years...It's partly why we, the American tax payer, pays a sh*tload of our tax dollars each year to basically base the American Navy's Fifth Fleet on the door step of Saudi Arabia as a defender against Iran....

Without that naval fleet, including its very potent air power and no doubt nuclear capability (a couple of nuclear armed Trident subs are most likely part of that deployment), Saudi Arabia would be a much easier target for what most experts consider a much stronger Iran....My point is we have far, far more leverage over Saudi Arabia then they over us. Especially given America's recent ascendance as the largest producer of oil in the World.

An American president who didn't have such a conflict of interest and the weight of Congress and the American public and other western allies behind him or her could, with one phone call, inform the Saudi King that his little minion must be removed from power and replaced by one of the other numerous princes. Of course Trump is not that president and only cares about personal enrichment and bail outs from the Saudi Royal family....It's disgusting, frankly...

gondicar - 11/24/2018 at 02:33 AM

Way to be a leader, Donnie. #dumbass

gina - 11/28/2018 at 12:42 AM

At least Bolton put out a reason why he did not listen to the tape.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/bolton-says-he-wont-listen-to-tape-of- khashoggi-murder/ar-BBQ9Wx1

However, he should know or maybe someone will tell him, that at the United Nations they have these headsets so that people can hear and have translated into their own language the words of other heads of state making speeches.

Couldn't they have borrowed a pair of headphones from the UN that would enable them to hear the words in English?

Why bother? Trump has already decided that he doesn't care. The only truth that matters to Trump is the one that he makes up. Facts no longer matter. His fans believe anything he says without questioning it and he doesn't care what the rest of America thinks (or the rest of the world for that matter).

sckeys - 11/28/2018 at 01:48 PM

Boltonís lecture to the bad media about speaking Arabic was cut short when that evil reporter asked him about getting a translator. He danced all around that one. The media folks are awful.

Muleman1994 - 11/28/2018 at 09:37 PM

Why should President Trump listen?

A translator would be useless.

Simply translating the words said eliminates any emotion or understanding idioms.

There is no way to verify the source of the recording which has been a problem throughout this issue.
A simple review of the many changes since this ďstoryĒ began tells us no one can prove anything.

sckeys - 11/28/2018 at 10:06 PM

Republicans defending saudi. Please keep at it.

Muleman1994 - 11/28/2018 at 10:15 PM

The Democrats are over-reacting to a situation they refuse to admit they do not know the truth.

President Trump should not and is not overreacting to a complicated situation nor did he cause this issue.

Khashoggi chose to advocate for the Muslim Brotherhood in Saudi Arabia which is akin to walking around Iran wearing a Star of David t-shirt.

The Democrats have nothing to do with this. Trump's own government issues a report that he refuses to believe.

And there you go blaming the victim again. You seem to like doing that a lot.

The U.S. Government has issued no definitive report on the Khashoggi matter.
Your post is your usual crap.

sckeys - 11/29/2018 at 03:09 AM

Your post is crap 2112. How dare you to even suggest that those pure as spring water saudis could do wrong. You should listen to the Repubs when they tell you there is nothing to see.

It's not the Republicans, it's only Trump. The senate Republicans agree with the CIA findings and want to punish Saudi Arabia. Too bad this didn't come out before the election so Muleman could have voted against the senate Republicans for disagreeing with Lord Trump..

If you had read "the CIA findings" you would know that they were written specifically to be vague and not place specific blame. Not that it matters.

Saudi Arabia's importance in the region far out-weighs one incident that has no proof of anything.
President Trump's measured response is appropriate.

Both Democrats and Republicans who have read the report disagree, and don't make it sound like you've read the top secret CIA report - you haven't!

Trump is an accessory to murder here. He is a weak leader returning the favor for the Saudis' bailing him out with his previous business failures.

BrerRabbit - 11/29/2018 at 06:52 AM

Khashoggi was probably getting ready to spill the beans on Saudi involvement in 9-11, or some other equally huge thing. I doubt his assassination was just because he was critical of the regime.
