Love to hear this news. Only a select few should be deserving of this and Van is certainly one of them.

Yes I was going to check yesterday but didn't get to it. I thought Van was knighted a few years ago. I saw him back in the late 60's when Brown Eyed Girl was out. He was usually excellent.

Actually I was surprised Gregg and Butch went along with those songs. Likely came from Derek, Warren or Otiel. Gregg did want to cover Heart of Stone by the Stones in the 90,s and Dickey did try it once then apparently refused to play it again which PO'd Gregg.

Before 2000 the ABB usually only covered old blues song such as " I must have did somebody wrong! I wonder who?"
