Thread: Felix Cavaliere's Rascals @The City Winery, NY 1/4/19

Fretsman - 1/6/2019 at 05:40 AM

Felix Cavaliere's still out there playing and singing some timeless Rock N Roll Rascal's tunes. At 76 his voice has aged and he has shared and guarded some vocals, but he's still that spunky character who approaches his life and his music with a smile. A fun night of music, drinks, and friends, What's better than that?

Thanks so much for posting. They were at Yoshi's in Oakland a year or two ago but I didn't go. I must have worn the grooves out on my vinyl of Time Peace: The Rascals Greatest Hits when I was in 9th grade.

As you said, Felix's voice has really lost a lot with time. Well, whose wouldn't? Big Kudos to him for being out there delivering the goods at 76 years old.

Very nice. Thanks for posting. Very enjoyable. Takes us back to a different time. Felix always was such a nice talent. The songs were crafted well. Feel good songs. Got to love songs with a B3 & keyboard emphasis. Very soulful.
