I mentioned this in the Forum yesterday, but I'll post it here, too - we have to beat that publicity drum!
If you're around NYC on March 27 and looking for something to do, take a look at Band Together at City Winery. It's going to benefit Rock & Wrap It Up, a great charity that I know is close to the hearts of a lot of ABB fans, and a portion of the proceeds will go to Music Never Stops: the Tyler Seaman Foundation. This is going to be an outstanding evening. At City Winery you can get great food and wine, and we're putting together a list of items for silent and live auctions. The event will close with a performance by The Main Squeeze, a young funk and jam band. We're glad to have their participation because Tyler was friends with two of the band members via summer camp, and they put on a fun show. We're also hoping we can bring in some special guests.
You can read more about Band Together here, as well as at the MNS website (URL in my signature): http://rockandwrapitup.org/press/latest-news/211-save-the-date-band-together-2014
We'd love to see you there!
Any chance my old friend Tom Speciale is still out there ?
Well not exactly. It includes members of ABB and NMAS.

Skydog that was the Thanksgiving show, correct? Or the day after. That was an awesome show.
Hey now...any news on any of the pre or after parties at the Beacon 3/14 & 3/15?
I will be in town and also attending 3/25.
I also just listened to my new CD that I had to order to get on the presale. Well gotta tell you it kicks some ass. Make no mistake you can hear Woody's and Dickeys influence. It sad that Woody past (Love Otiel) and how Dickey just went down hill after that great run. The version of Come on into my kitchen is a killer, Greg sounds so sweet. And of course they look so young!
I have been a die hard fan of the ABB since 1973. Nassau Coliseum was my first show and hundreds followed after that including Watkins Glenn. Obviously the original version of the band was the best. Listen to Stony Brook when they at their peak. I just received Play all night and this was the best hardcore version of the ABB since then.Dickey went downhill after that but I would love to see Dickey return once more. After all he is still a brother.
Hey, ABB hard to believe no more live at the Beacon after 2014. Trying to make a birthday present to my husband to come see you guys this year. He's with the South 46 Band of San Jose, tribute to Allman Brothers. We'll get there to see Gregg, Butch, Jaimoe and the rest.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
Just received the 2 CD 1992 Beacon set that I purchased for the Beacon presale. Before I pop it in my Imac I wanted to give a high five to all involved who many times don't get the credit they deserve. I know many of us are grateful for all you do. Another live CD to my wonderful collection. And now time to listen.
Much love for the 4 CD "Brothers and Sisters".
Leah, thought of you as soon as I read about Jeter.........boy, seems like this year is the last for moving on..........that's life......so they say.....
Ca, I really need another show......I have this great pix of Gregg playing the acoustic guitar........hair in a pony tail...his head tilted to the left.......DAMNNNNN when I get frustrated at work....I take a Gregg break !!!! LOL
Everyone stay safe and warm........
Peace and love.........Happy Valentine's Day, peachheads !!!!!!
u said it Leah Marie
Praying everyone is safe and warm
Deb, we need a show!
Oh Rats - Jeter is also retiring after this season - not unexpected but sad - and am grateful that A-Roid is not part of the team this year to take away from Jeter's season with A-Roid's nonsense
Be careful out there with all of this crazy weather - probably worst winter of all time in NY - never had so many snow days from work before
Oh Ca....sounds great!!!!! My one plant has already bloomed twice !!!!! Waiting for the rest of them to join in soon !!
y'all be safe and careful thru this nasty storm......saying an extra prayer for all of you! BE SAFE !!!!!
Peace and love !!!!
