I am up and running again. I see I have PM's going back to Feb. 09. As soon as I can learn this MacBook lap top. I will try to PM back. Things are good at my end. Hope everyone's doing good during the dark days? There are more to come. When the going gets tough the tough get going. Who is the champ? Two teams with undefeated season. Who is the champ? Opinions are like you know what? Everybody has one. Trouble is, we will never know. Bottom line is. The answer is on the field. When people stop buying the thickets to these meaningless bowl games. That's when we will get a true champion. You can jump on the table, cry in your beer, or slap the old lady on the butt. The above is not an opinion, its a fact! Nice to see the up grade here on the post page. Spell check is great.

Congrats to Bama, they deserved it and earned it. Proved once again to this country that the SEC rules. Great defensive football. The running game is alive and well. Bama beat Florida, probably the most balanced team, because they prepared hard and executed as well as could be. Even with McCoy, Bama would have won, it's their year, Ingram's Heisman, MVP & now National champs.

You're right, Tim. Going through dry times makes you appreciate the good times. We screwed up. Some of it was in the basketball program, a lot of it was players talking to agents, doing deals secretly. But in the end, we screwed up. Did some sleazy things in recruiting. Got busted. Got what we deserved. Paid a big price. Some of our people want to blame Fullmer, blame Tennessee, blame the NCAA. That is BS, imho. We are the ones that screwed up. One of the things Saban has done is to clean that up. He ran off the thugs and punks too. You don't see our guys getting arrested, etc. any more. If you're going to win, and win with class, you gotta' have winning people. The thugs shoulda' been gone long ago. Shoulda' never been there in the first place. This game will always have an asterisk beside it, because of McCoy getting hurt. It certainly took away from the game, and took some of the fun away from winning. I hope he has a great pro career. He is a great player and a class act.

That freshman was phenomenal! He was playing highschool football at this time last year. He went in cold as a cucumber and made it run! If the Texas receivers hadn't dropped so many of his passes, the outcome might have been different. Still, gotta hand it to the Bama 'D!

Alabama played a class game..against a great team. Coach Saban had Texas pegged...Ingram and Richardson are awesome and just crush defenders! And, they will be back next year!! Bama's reciever's are some of the best in the nation, kudo's to Texas for their coverage. I believe if Bama had needed them to step up. it would have happened in a big way..but, as long as you have great backs who carry the ball for 100+...run Bama run!

Congrats to Alabama. 95% of the coaches would have started taking a knee when the Texas QB fumbled. It would have ended the game. Scoring another touchdown in the final minute or so ironically probably gives a little more cover to Mack Brown, who won't be quite as scrutinized for the end of the first half as he would have been with a closer outcome. Bup...It's not like there weren't plenty of dry times between Stallings and Saban. You guys have also been on football probation more than any other school in the past 2 decades (including currently). You're in the elite of the elite there too....no shining star on the hill. But if your talking about W's and championships over the history of college football, I see your point.

Bama # 1 SEC Texas played with class and great effort. Run the ball and stop the run still wins in the college game. McCoy should have never been running the option. Pick 6 before the half was big. I got calls from friends from 4 states last night. I guess they figure that I am happy/. I guess my Auburn friends can put away their Texas stuff. Roll Tide.

Leon, I beg to differ. As I told a scalper at a Birmingham show a few years ago: "There wouldn't be a need for people like you if it weren't for people like you." This guy was justifying scalping tickets by saying that the only way that people could get decent tickets was to go through people like himself - who create the ticket shortage by scooping up all the good seats by various and sometimes, nefarious methods. As far as I'm concerned the only good scalper is one being led away by authorities! 😉

Saban is amazing. Congrats to Alabama. I would've loved to see the game we all intended to watch, with McCoy. But, ya know, that's what happens when your monster D Tackle rushes like his arse is on fire. Colt didn't trip - Alabama caused it. That's what great teams do. Scalpers? They're bothersome..but they do serve a purpose and it is America. Unless you work for a non-profit, you work FOR profit...just like they. They take risk. Don't support them but they aren't going away. Enjoy the weekend, folks. 😎

The Texas defensive co-ordinators did a great job of confusing McElroy and the passing game. I hated to see him take all those sacks, but he did it to avoid interceptions, imho. His way of dealing with a confusing situation. Texas is one of the nation's premier programs. They showed their class and their heart last night. I have tremendous respect for their program, always have. We now join Notre Dame at the top of the list of repeat national champions. Texas and Oklahoma right behind. This is our peer group. With the possible exception of Tennessee, and maybe Florida, I sometimes find it a little insulting that some of our fans get some kind of pride from defeating some of the good SEC teams. They are not our peers, shouldn't be raised to the level of the acomplished programs in importance. Not trying to be disrespectful, but it should be earned on the field and not through media hype, imho. Saban brought in assistants that could teach offensive linemen how to block, how to get better. Shula and his people did not know how to teach people how to get better--especially offensive linemen. This was pointed out to me by a former assistant under Bryant. Maybe it's why some coaches are better at the college level, some are better at the pro level. It's a cold world out there, especially this winter. A little warmer today, though. Roll Tide!

I was on ebay today and noticed that there about 10 auctions selling good "fan club"orchestra seats at big prices from the same seller. The ebay username is 153finishline or just do an allman brothers band tickets search and scroll to the bottom of the page. Lana should request his info, get his email and stop his tickets from being shipped. What a scum bag!
