Happy Birthday Lee from Leah who loves Rockin' Horse and Soulshine - have a blast on this beautiful day!
Happy Birthday Lee.....................
As long as we are fessing up, Bird72 sent me my first show. Seattle 8-6-99. Tim, this was the night after Portland and these are two of my favorite shows. Derek's solo in Les Bres In A Minor in Portland is off th charts and the whold Seattle show is as well. They do a Ramblin' Man with Derek laying down a viscious slide solo and Dickey answering. And the ending of Black Hearted Woman is the best I have heard. Thanks Tony.
Jack, as long as it's not a 'dry' summer...
Lee - Happy Birthday.
Brofan, yes I remember that nasty break-in and sending you some music. Thanks for the kind words.
Big Mike
:birthday: Lee.enjoy you're Dia Amigo
Happy birthday Lee...I will play a solo acoustic Liz Reed and debut Soulshine at my solo show tonight in your honor !
:birthday: Lee :birthday: Have a wonderful day sweetie!!! May you NOT get a Soulshine or Rocking Horse today...:)
NOTHING was worse than the 35 minute Rocking Horse at the Rockford show in '04. :looney:
:koolaid: :koolaid:
this man is & was the Allman brothers after Duanes passing(img)(/img/)
Looks like I need to hunt that RR show down...don't wanna miss Lee's tirade during SS. Hope they got on tape! 😉
not for Lee...
But it's really a running joke...it's fun to give him a concert call during Soulshine.
That's putting it mildly...:)
Lee does not like Soulshine....LOL
Tony Bird72 sent me my first show as well 🙂
Lee, Wow my man. You sure run your chops about not busting the bubble, then I hear you ran you mouth real loud and clear at the Red Rocks show, because you did not like Soulshine. Was that your drunk self hollering out all during the song. My, my, your back yard ant so clean, but you see fit to to explain to me about posting because this is a fun sight. Good luck.
Wanee is proof that Heaven may exist. 😎
Did someone say WANEE?
:reddancer:
Listening to the DT/ST set from Wanee right now...WOW. Get's better every time I hear it. Too bad that was 12:30 to 2:30 in the morning as most in my group were ready to bail and I had to leave half way through.
Can't wait to hear this band tour. Nothing would make me happier than to see them in theaters across the nation, not smokey bars. The Murat Theater here in Indy, The Fox Theater, Louisville Palace, etc. This group of musicians could make a HUGE impact in a musical world void of talented musicians laying down the truth this way. I'm excited just thinking about the possibilities. How many eyes & ears could Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi open if given the opportunity.
Doing ok Rich. I still have a dropped right foot from my back blow out, but I am slowly getting stronger and believe I will recover. Come on out again sometime. I hope you are doing well.
How are you, Jack? Long time no talk...sorry to hear about your back, is it? Hope it heals.....you are one of the most genuinely welcoming people here and I'll never forget your kindness and hospitality when I was a guest for RR in '06.
