Bluefox, cherries are helpful in dealing with gout..Sam's Club has a wonderful dried cherry assortment, very inexpensive, a mix of sweet lush specialty cherries and tart , intense wild cherries. They are wonderful in home-baked oatmeal cookies especially if you throw in a handful of dark chocolate chips, or skip the oatmeal and just dip the cherries in melted dark chocolate to cover and allow to set. ....mmmm health-food rocks! BIG THANKS to Brother Brent! arrived home late last night after a long work week to find a GREAT Skydogs LIVE show in mailbox 🙂 🙂 🙂 Its rocking El Jobean as I post, and one of our regular customers, (an older gentleman, greets us every morning with fresh coffee and donuts! ) is singing along with Caledonia! Priceless! 🙂 🙂 🙂 xoxox Ca

Happy Birthday wishes to all celebrating that I've not had the pleasure to meet yet! Congratulations to all of you celebrating this joyful day with your college graduates! Happy Mother's Day to all who are blessed to have their children to talk with, hold, and hug. Loving thoughts to all the mothers who continue to endure heartache w/ their angels in heaven. And about that Southern Living....I have a subscription and my May issue features Austin -vs- Nashville and 'How To Do Bonnaroo' . . . no ABB/Macon - - so if you run out to buy one make sure it features Macon in the travel section!!

Hey folks, hows things? Anywho I was listening to Deep Tracks on XM on the way home from work last night and the DJ mentioned that GA told them the Brothers are going to announce more dates later in the summer, any hope?Although the left coast is probably out of the realm of possibility. One can only hope!

Ovie Sparks has photos of me. Or did. I remember him taking some here and there. Maybe the Fox in Atlanta with Barbara and Amanda. And if I get to review he can post them. Then perhaps you will know who I am. Good night. Enough.

Thank you Past Dreams. Thank you. Can you find Pat? Ask her if I can post our picture from New Orleans. If she doesn't think so, I understand. After the review of the family Christmas photo it might not be a good idea. Maybe I will just save it for "space book" that I will try to get help in creating on Mothers Day. I just have not seen these folks for some time. Rough waters here. Ok. You want to talk fishing? I caught three catfish in a row one afternoon on the porch of Idlewild. One after the other in less than 10 or 15 minutes. Good sized. Someones dad that day expressed to their son that I could be marriage material after I did that. He gave me a lesson on how to skin them. My grandpa usually threw the cats back. We liked bass and crappie. Sometimes we would get freshwater trout. It's way late. I drank way too much caffeinated black tea today. It's time to give this a little rest for awhile and go back to real time. Once again thanks to the sweeties. And peace to the meanies. Goodnite Warren. Nice picture. I saw you in Eugene. You and that drummer were awesome.

Peace from pain to your dad Blue Fox. I garden for one of my neighbors. I love her. She is 86. She says part of her is already retired! I am her current arms and legs in her beloved gardens. She is a master gardener. It irritates the hell out of her to not be able to do this freely as she has all her life. I listen to her painful little moans as she gets around on the crutches. It breaks my heart. She will tell me sternly not to tell her to be careful. In fact I thought she might lay a crutch across my but earlier today when I told her to be careful. So please explain a little about gout. I read up on herbal and mineral remedies all the time. Sometimes I think it's better than the big company drugs that seem to have lots of problems. I know that your dad probably should not have anything with iodine in it. No shellfish. I am not a doctor and you should research and consult one if you should use alternative methods. The things I read concern people who have tried everything. I am not a big fan of pain. But I had my first baby with no pain meds, natural delivery. I had to put my mind in a different place to stop screaming so the baby could get oxygen. Pain sucks. I am sorry your dad is in pain. I hope he finds relief from this. My country grandma lived to be 98 and I loved her with all my heart.

Red Dog, it's me D.Jo Lived at Randall and Joyces. Jack's grandma's house across from Larry and Valeries. I can't manuever my comments as in I can not access the last 10 things so I can sort of reference things. I will post some pics in the next few days. When I came here this morning something really weird happened. When I tried to access private messages three boxes popped up saying Modules.php. Now I am sort of a techno dummie and don't know a lot of computer stuff. Just to busy with other things. But my mouse was sticking earlier and somethings up. Hope you are well and happy. I don't like internet fights. It's real easy to misunderstand or ruffle feathers. But sometimes it's just too blatant. And times are sort of stressful as it is with the world in general. "You don't work the man don't pay you, ain't no saint to come and save you? Oh when you're tore down. Also I can't figure out how to use the spell checker. At one time I did Winterlands inventory everyday from my computer. You would never know it huh?

Macon Rocks On - - - Southern Living Magazine May 2010 current edition includes an excellent travel page featuring Mama Louise, The H&H Restaurant, The Allman Brothers Museum at The Big House, and legendary Grant's Lounge. Grant's is featuring more concert events and this past Friday evening singer-songwriter Davin McCoy (remember that name) wowed the audience with his soulful and powerful young voice. We are blessed to discover 25 year old Davin from Atlanta who just released an amazingly wonderful cd featuring Chuck Leavell and Randall Bramblett on keyboards. Macon, Georgia along with the resurrection of Grant's, grand opening of The Big House, and timeless spirit of Mama Louise Hudson, remains a powerfully enlightened and still moving forward place in music history.

to red-dog. I enjoy the stories you have brought on this site, and your no-nonsense truthful candor. Nice picture posted from the ceremony. Would someone please tell me if kirk west and his wife were there?-If not, why not??? I'm still curious about their departure from the abb scene, and would like to know the story behind their apparent excommunication

I believe in the power of our peachy world and I know that the thoughts and prayers have helped so much when someone needs them. I would appreciate when you say your prayers if you would include one for my 94 yr old father. He is has lived a long wonderful life but is now battling a very painful health complication with gout. The gout seems to be winning. I've seen him age so much in the last two weeks. Another painful procedure for him today. Thanks..."y'all are a great bunch."
