Get better soon.
Thanks for the update Dog.........one day at a time.
They got Gregg up and moving some yesterday. That is good. He still has pain, hope a lot of that goes away soon. So far, so good.
Positive, peachy vibes out to all struggling with health issues especially to Gregg and Red Dog these days. Modern medicine is truly amazing. It's almost as amazing as the human body.
As some of you know from a few years ago, my brother-in-law is a kidney transplant recipient. His sister was the very generous donor. It still boggles my mind when I think about it and how it changed his life. Tons of anti-rejection pills became a daily meal, but that's the small stuff we shouldn't sweat. Donors rock. Living donors are the epitome of selflessness.
Life events like this will always focus the lens through which we see our world. Hopefully, people take some time to shed negative stuff they've been carrying with them. We hear it all the time - Life is too short. That stuff gets real heavy the older we get. Best to really look at it and determine if you've given it the appropriate level of importance. How nice to decide it ain't worth the hurt and kick that junk to the curb.
I hope all that took the journey to Chi-town enjoy the Crossroads festival and have a wonderul time. I'm sure the Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi band (and Warren) will play with extra-special energy keeping Gregg in their thoughts as they take over the ABB's slot in the line-up.

In an interview that Gregg gave he said music has always been there for him in good times and in bad and it's a
shame everyone doesn't have that kind of outlet. But....we do. We have Greggs music to sooth our souls.
Godspeed Gregg. You mean so much to a lot of people.
Love you,
Mady
