In honor of the new Hittin the Web,I'll offer the first person to e-mail me a tasty treat - Warren Haynes solo acoustic 6/26/97 from Atomic Studio's Clinton, NJ. on the house. Does anyone know where to find Derek Trucks set lists?

John, There are actually four different web sites here, with four different guest books. We did this because the Allman Brothers want their Guest Book to be about the ABB, and other bands want their own Guest Books too. You can always tell what site you are in because the top and left side of the page look the same throughout a single site. This is the Allman Brothers Band site and Guest Book. When we finish this site, www.allmanbrothersband.com will point here. Rowland

Rowland/Lana...you may have a problem here or it may be the couple of beers I've had this evening but the Guest Book seems to have lost some entries.....My buddy Jack from London had a post here earlier today and I posted right after him. His post was about not being able to get Radio HTW to work among other things. My post echoed the same sentiments including the fact I get a message "cannot locate resource specified": and I think I also made a smart comment about the weather in Toronto being missing. If I didn't make that last comment, I meant to..Anyway, I love the new site and in fact I don't even go to the old one anymore. I also tried to link to the Red Dog site earlier today through the links section but it didn't work for me....I'm sure that was nothing more than a strange coincidence...Keep up the good work guys!

RED DOG YOU GROOVE BABY!! ohhhhh if only more men were as committed to loyalty and bravery as his book tales - the world would be a very beautiful rose garden!! (Buy his book if you have no idea what I'm talking about) Not only an original brother, Red Dog is def. one of the founding members of the woman's sexual liberation movement back in the day! Thank you Mr. Dog for all the blossoms you bloomed and for showing the guys how do it right and tight! Def. buy his book!! It's totally funny (and somwhat educational - hee hee, hahahaha!!!) I'm reading for the second time right now. Thanks again Mr. Dog!!

Hey Rowland, How do you get the Avatars? When I looked at all of them you couldn't access them and if you just look at the list you can't tell which is which. Other than that, What a Site!!!! Way too much fun to be had here. The chat is great. I participated for the first time last week and had a blast. Thank you Bro!Johnny

AllBluesBro -- you're test driving it right now!!! You need a snappy Avatar, my Bro... add a little color to your posts! One thing I really like is the "from " along with the Guestbook posts... kinda gives people more dimension than just a handle, dontcha think? Rowland

This site has kind of a new car scent to it. When can We take it for a test drive?

aiq, Yes -- think of each of these sites as being self-sufficient, but similar enough that once you know how to navigate one, you can navigate the other too. We did this because each band and musician really wants its own site with its own Guest Book, Forum, Picture gallery, etc... You go out on the web today and you find Derektrucksband.com, dickeybettsband.com, allmanbrothersband.com, etc. So this brings multiple sites much closer together, but also lets them stand alone... when www.allmanbrothersband.com gets "switched over" to this page, you could come in here and never visit HTW's home page... although we of course hope and expect people will. Dan -- This is a brand new Guest Book so if you're looking for entries from the Guest Book on www.allmanbrothersband.com you won't find them. This site is not officially open yet, although we seem to have pretty good traffic already! When it does officially open, it will become www.allmanbrothersband.com. I still need to add some more features from www.abb.com before I can pull the plug on it. There are also four very closely connected sites here -- "Our" main site, Hittin' the Web, which you get to at www.hittintheweb.com or clicking HTW Home from this site; Hittin' the Web with the ABB, which is the site you are looking at now; Hittin' the Web with Oteil B., which you get to by going to HTW Home and then clicking the Oteil Burbridge link in the upper left corner Flying Frog Records which you get to from HTW Home, and clicking Flying Frog Records link in the upper left corner All of these sites have Guest Books, Forums, etc. Lots of stuff! Everyone -- thanks for the kind words, they make the oh, coupla hours 😉 we spent on this worthwhile! Rogue -- at this point the Weather module list of cities are hardcoded, send me your city and I'll add it. At some point I'll figure out how to let you add your own city. We have a lot more cool stuff coming... stay tuned! Hit that note, Rowland
