Congratulations on the new format--sure looks nice, and it's pretty easy to navigate. Sorta keeps up with the times...and more. Just like the ABB--the road just goes on forever.....and keeps getting better. Looking forward to March 23 at the Beacon. Who from here is going on that night? Drop me a line and let me know who you are. Maybe we can make contact--it would be fun to meet some of the great ABB fans who hang out here. It's football halftime, and may just be about over, so wishing everyone a peachy evening.....Beverly
A B&P OFFER to start the GB right here. I promised to spread this one around. This is thanks to a taper who made sure I got a copy, so I want it to be enjoyed around. It is special to me cause I was there. Gregg Allman and Friends / Portland, OR / 11/10/01. Nice sound, 2CD. E-Mail bird72@bird72.com. I may not respond till Monday, but I'll take a bunch. Any friends or regular traders who want it, holler too.
Hi, anyone who hasn't heard the new Mule Cd need to buy it. It's awesome. I'm sure most everyone has heard it, but just in case.
Still has that new car smell
Happy Afternoon All,
Was supposed to go see DTB in B'ham tonight but a sick kid put the brakes on that so better luck next time. Any reviews on the show by those who might be attending would be appreciated. Watched "Oh Brother Where Art Thow" for about the third time (got it on DVD) and it cracks me up every time. That is one funny movie. Anyway, went out and checked the mail and low and behold the soundtrack I ordered was in the mailbox. Yee Hah! Ya'll have a nice day and I am gonna go listen to "Man of Constant Sorrows" by the Soggy Bottom Boys! What a hoot! 🙂
Look on the bright side Sang you can start the stadium renovations tommorow. The only reason I am not worried is you all have no quarterback.
Peace
Happy Saturday to everyone. It is SNOWING here in NJ. Gotta fire up the 'ol snow shovel 'cause it's gonna get deep. Thanks Goliath for the great care package! You rocked my world today. And a million and one thanks to Gerald and that doesn't even cover it! Gov't Mule is rockin me at work. Thanks Gerald! Hospitality sweeties, the 1st weekend at the Beacon is just around the corner. Can't wait. Anyone have any plans for the 2nd weekend? How about we start putting some kind of plans together? Anyone game?
I stepped outta the old GB to eat breakfast, and apparently the door locked behind me. Woe.
But, at least I have this cute little picture of me, taken a few days ago. L&R musta cropped the thong off, though.
HEY GUESTBOOK,

All I have to say is GO BEARS! Looks like some of the Eagle fans are in a time warp, thinking the game has already been played - kinda like Cub fans - wait till next year!

Hey, There! Rowland asked us to start the new Guest Book by telling about our lives and ourselves vis-a-vis the ABB. Well, I got turned on to the band by older siblings around ’72 or ’73 at the age of 8 or 9. Dickey Betts guitar has long been my favorite sound in music. My first show was at the Boston garden around 1981. During the horrendous 80’s I caught about every Dickey Betts Band show in Massachusetts and many a Gregg show. Since the reunion I’ve gone to three to six shows per year through New England. I've been a regular Beacon attendee since they started doing the shows.I’m the lucky husband of Maryellen; father of Seamus (Pronounced Shay-mus. It’s Irish for James) and Duane Allman Frawley the dog. When Dickey was told he was out I publicly stated I’d burn my tix and was done. I changed my mind and checked out one show. Well, it still sounded like the ABB, albeit a different ABB. So I support both bands. Hell their personnel decisions are not any of my business anyway.I am a notorious procrastinator and should never engage in tape trading. I’m also a diehard Bostonian and love hosting friends from the extended family for shows at Great Woods. There! - Frim
good morning. nothin' to say but it's ok...guess this is the point of no return as i've made my farewell post to the old GB. as dylan said, if you're not busy bein' born, you're busy dying. so, goeth i into that brave new world! ok, i'll stop now.
Good morning good people. Two days ago I was Jody, now I am Jodyd. Somehow I lost my name in the move, but it is still me. Hope y'all are liking the website. It's like moving into a new home and trying to find everything that was packed away. It is BEAUTIFUL! Great job Lana and Rowland, thanks for the new home.
Hey Y'all! Snowing here in Southern Maryland this morning. The DTB show is awesome TomS! Thankyou! Hope you are feeling better every day! Found out yesterday that DTB is at the Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis MD this Wed. Their website is their name if any of you Wash-Balt folks are interested. I have never been there but it is a nice little place with their own micro-brewery. Gotta run, bacon eggs and grits are callin this ole boy!
Nice to see the new guest book up and running.
