Bird, sorry for your loss..my deepest sympathy to your family.
I have always believed that if you really love someone, you can conquer any obstacles that come your way. Hope things work out for you.
The only 2 bands in the world that keep me going these days is The Allman Brothers Band and The Lynyrd Skynyrd Band. I want to thank the two of them for making the best music a person could listen to or jam with in there basement on there guitar. Thank-you very much and I hope you come to my end of the world before I pass-on.
freebird, keep on rock'n people
Bird72, you are a wise and good man. Ladybird, My deepest condolences on the passing of your Dad.

Bird: sorry to hear about your father-in-law. But the news about Cheryl (to whom I, the Constable of Guest Books old and new, extend this laurel, and hardy handshake) is very good.
You close one door and another opens; the Wheel keeps turning. Kinda like with Butch, who just recently lost his mother one night and gained his first grandson the next day. Funny world, isn't it? At least you know you have friends to count on. Peace. --Marley
mark shearer, hit me with an email, bro.
best wishes to everybody trying to stay in love.
Hey Bird,
Welcome back home. Sorry to hear about your father in-law, and the best of luck in your relationship. I to have recently lost two of my aunts to cancer. My 10 year relationship is on the rocks as well, so I know what you're going through bro. Hang in there. That's what I keep telling myself. Have a great Sunday...Peace...Neil
Bird, thanks for the words of wisdom.
This is a link to Dylan's concert reviews.

Welcome Back Bird,
May the rest of your year be filled with peace and joy.

Thanks everyone for the great words of encouragement before I left a few days ago. My father in law died last Sunday night. Your who? I've been seperated for over half a year, and in a bad bad marriage for years. It was over and being the gluttons for punishment we are, we are back togethor giving it a serious try again, with hope. I have kept Cheryl off the GB because I figured it was her choice to get on here and expose herself. She said she may get a handle (ladybird?) and post. She has been an ABB freak for years, I converted her in the 80's. How about a couple of words of encouragement to get her on here? So, we've been living togethor again for exactly 2 weeks and now I'm building a second story to house my poor mother inlaw who can't drive and has lived 20 miles out in the desert from anywhere, and is now helpless. What a week. What a life. My father inlaw Jim was missing for half a day, he had a heart attack and was a half mile off the road in his truck. You people don't know how much family this place can be. Got home last night 1 AM and came here for the good comfort of the words. Death don't have no mercy in this land. Get your affairs in order and don't leave a mess for the survivors. And forget the BS between us all, enjoy life and the people around you. Also, I must thank a dear, dear friend who gave me back my sanity this last year. You know who you are. I hope for your happiness even more than mine.
Hey Gail,
We're thinking about you and your family, sending warm, loving vibes your way -along with a wish for a quick return of power. Since you're listening to Radio HTW I'm going to dedicate "Cold" by Left Foot Down to you. Also, The Slip is one of Flying Frog Records' bands. More information about them is available here by clicking on Bands in the Menu column.
Take care and know that you are loved ... and hopefully warm *k*,
Lana
Well I am ready for our trip to The Bahamas. i will miss ya'll. i have plenty of music. ABB, Phil, Greg, Dickey, Derek, EC, Steve Kimock, Taj, Traffic, it has been 20 years since we got married. Thus return to honeymoon site. Kay ( my wife) has had to listen to ABb for a long time. She has learned to like not love it. She has seen them about 25 times. She is more into Clapton. she has come along way though. heading for breakfast and then airport in about 30. The cat knows something is up and well as the dog. My mother-in-law will take care of our daughter (Paige) and Matches and Snowball. I am ready for a week of fun. See ya'll.
Hey there sweet family,
The best first step in a campaign to get the ABB in any town is to let your local major concert promoter and venue know you want to see them.
Peach bewitch you,
Lana
Been away from the site for awhile and just came back to re-inlist. The new guest-book looks great, but what is this about 5 or 6 different sites?
Can't make the Beacon this year, but it's fun to watch the excitement build among the lucky ones going.
Hey folks. This is the first time I have checked out the new site, and I am impressed. I am going to see Dylan in Atlanta next weekend, so I have been checking out his setlists. Last night in Tampa, Dickie Betts came on stage and played with him on "Rainy Day Women #'s 12 & 35". Thought you would like to know. Anyone at that show?
Thanks ABB for the memories the last 8 years, we're making the trek once again to NYC, this time for 2 nights in the big city with the best band ever. We got better seats than last year and a fun suite in the city to party in what could be better. During this trip I'm passing on to a younger guy the emotion and feelings associated with seeing Abb live. This is all part of the cycle of "The Road Goes On For Ever!!!!" So you guys have fun in the city then come to the Beacon and kick our asses so this new guy comes away with what I've been telling him he is missing in life. Please just come out and do it all, like in the Chicago Theater last year, wow what an experience. I'll stop preaching now just show the new guys why I am chest deep in Allmans music and forever trying to spread it.
hey lana can u help us in syracuse gettin the abb in for a show? thanx hun
